I can't find it it add/remove programs. I originally had xp-home and bought and installed xp-pro on top of it. I have a lot of problems I can't fix for nothin. My disk defragmenter quit working and all suggestions to fix it has failed. I'm thinking if I un-install and re-install it , it might fix everything.

Put the Windows CD in your Cd drive and reboot the computer
Should automatically start the Windows set up

Remember that if you format the hard drive you will wipe out all the files on your computer. So be sure you have copied any music, videos, pictures, etc, you want to a CD or DVD before you reinstall Windows.

(You can not uninstall and reinstall Windows from within Windows by the Add/Remove - it can not uninstall itself. As soon as it deleted the system files it would crash.)

The best...and easiest way to do it is to boot off CD and then format the disk and start from the beginning. :) Cheers

Pop your Windows Home disk in..re-boot and press any key while it boots up (it will tell you when).
