I want to ask other parents before i bring her to the doctor. any help will work

If her throat looks fine, it probably is. Also, if her "sickness" doesn't seem to be getting worse I wouldn't worry.
When my son was 5 he started rolling his eyes up into his head every once in a while. People started asking me if maybe I should have his brain checked out. I was noticing that he only seemed to do it when other people were around or when he knew he was being watched. I started ignoring it and it went away within a couple weeks.
I would try offering a glass of water for her sore throat and telling her the throat drops are gone. Just to see if it continues on when the reward isn't so sweet.

Could be a combination of things. The dry air could be irritating her throat, in which case a humidifier would help. She might just like the lozenges a little too much or it could be that she really enjoys the attention she gets from you when you check her throat. However, the problem could be related to sinus drainage or any number of other mild medical problems. Before you do anything else, you should take her to the doctor to get checked out. Don't be afraid of overeacting by running her to the doc it's always better to be safe than sorry and it sounds like this has been going on for a while.

I live in a cold climate and have a 7 year old son who did that for about a year, he has stopped and I could not figure out why or what triggered it. I took him to the Doctor who said everything was fine. I also had a nephew who did the same thing when he was about 5 or 6. Try changing the throat drops to a harsher brand, one that is not so tasty, tell her they stopped selling the ones she likes. Also get a humidifier for the home.

Moving to a colder climate area can be dryer as well. The air might be drying her throat. Maybe keep bottles of water around and the throat drops. Instead of using throat drops switch to something else such as hard candy, lolly pops. They sell sugar free candy so she would not be getting the sweets so much. Keep her well hydrated and this might help out to.

Free advice is nice and sometimes helpful, but you really should take her and have her throat checked. If your throat hurt all the time, you wouldn't want to wait long to see a doctor, would you?

She may have a sinus infection changing climates can do that and the grunting is probably her trying to clear the passages. and the post nasal drip can be irritating her throat a visit to the doc will probably consist of antibiotics to cure the sinus infection

I'd take her in to get checked just to be on the safe side. I don't think you have anything to worry about, though. My 5 year old does the same thing, but only because her dad and I do it. If Daddy gets a headache, she does too. If Mommy's knee hurts, so does hers. it could very well be that she's hearing kids at school doing it, so she's trying to be like them. There's never any harm in being on the safe side, though.

Could be an ear infection, the ear, nose and throat are all connected. Take her for a check up anyway just to be on the safe side.

It's probably the cold dry air that is getting to her. Put a humidifier in her bedroom for when she sleeps, but make sure it's one that is not a fire hazard. You can also have her garggle with warm salt water in the morning and in the evening to help clear it up.
