Both my father and I are Lapsed Catholics. Lapsed all the way to atheism. My mother was baptized Baptist but converted to Catholicism but is mostly lapsed now to a non-denominational Christian. My sister is like my mother. One brother is atheist/pagan and my other brother is a born again bible thumper.

I don't like the word religions.
To me religion is what your parents told and dictated you about, religion is what your ancestors did before, religion is what my family do.... Religion is what my family believe and I just simply follow blindly what they believe.
Religions never make you the real person that you really wanna be.
Religions never make you truly happy, content and fulfilled.
Religions separate people.
Religion is NOT about asking questions, but it's more about being a unsighted follower without knowing what is real and what isn't real in this life.
Religions and God are 2 complete different things. I think they are very very different. I think God is the universal life force and religions are man's creation.
I believe in God.
But I really don't like the word religions cuz they are always ONLY for making people feel more holy, divine and god-like towards the others. Religions to most people already became a substance or medium to abuse one another for the sake of their own self righteousness.
And we all know this very well.... like it or not.

No one in my family went to church while I was growing up and never talked about religion or God.
When my brother and I got out of high school and met our to be spouses we started going with them. I have since become Methodist and my brother goes to a non-denominational church. My parents now occasionally go to a Methodist church.

My parents and other members of my family became Baha'is in the years of 1960's. We were from the Buddhist background, and we joined this new Faith for realizing that Baha'u'llah is the promised return of all the Mesengers of the One True God.
