Difficult to say without knowing you, I know of an 11 year old girl that does everything for her family, because her mum is very ill, and her dad ran off years ago, she does have people to back her up, social workers, friends etc, but it was decided to let her take control of the situation because that allowed her to deal with the families trauma.
Hopefully you have people who can help, sometimes you will need a break, and you will need someone there for you, so that you can be there for the baby.
Childbirth does hurt, I know I'm a man, but I have seen the pain my childrens mother went through, but the pain is superceded by the miracle of a baby.
I wish you the very best of luck, It will be hard work, but there are many rewards.
You won't be the first 14 year old to have a baby, nor the last.
Of course it would be better if you didn't get pregnant at that age, but if you already are than thats too late.

Being a mother is the most amazing blessing you could ever ask for, but....being a mother at 14 years old is just something you don't want to be right now, you still have a lot of things to experience in life and being a mother should be last in your list. Taking care of a baby is no game, you have to change diaper, give them food, BUY them all what they need, it's a 24/7 job, there is no time left for you , while you are changing diapers all your friends are enjoying what all 14 years old do. No you can't handle it at age 14.

You should not have a baby at the age of 14, your not even old enough and your still growing and going through puberty, why would you want a baby right now anyways? you would miss out on a lot of fun because you would have to take care of your baby, stay young while you can, having a baby is a serious thing and takes a lot of responsibility. wait until your older and when your married and when your more educated about this stuff, and yes it does hurt, a lot! they say to take your bottom lip and stretch it all the way over your head.

It is something extremely enjoyable...and extremely hard. It's not a case of having a cute pink little baby and taking it for walks in the park or at the mall. It is tiring, difficult and stressful...and mine is only 3 months old!! She's a relatively easy, happy baby but I still find it hard. I'm 25 and in a long term relationship, and there is no way that at 14 you should be considering having a baby. Of course you could cope; you'd have to, but why would you want to?

you can do it , if you decide to do it, and are able to educate yourself as to how to take care of the child (your dr and health dept and family and childrens can all help with this) ,, its hurts some to give birth,, then you have to accept that a baby needs 24 hour care,, its is your responsibility if you use day care/babysitter to try to find the best you can,,,,,, and to know and watch for signs that the child is not being treated well,,,,,,, 14 is very young, especially in this day and age, when a 14 year old has been treated like a teen, not like an adult,,,,, 150 years ago, women did it all the time, had babies young,,,, but they were women, already taking on a adult role,,,,,,,,,so the decision is up to you, think carefully about it,,,,,, with alot of support, you can do it,,,, just accept you will have to put some things, some of the fun things, in life on hold till your say 30 ish

I think you should see your school counselor and sign up for the "Baby Think It Over" program. This is when you get a doll that has human needs, it also has a chip to see how long it takes you to respond to the "baby's" needs. Sometimes the baby cries all night long even if you hold it, change it, etc. I signed my 3 oldest children up for this when my 16 year old asked if she could have a baby. She was "lucky" enough to get the colicy baby (just like real baby's you don't know what you are getting until it arrives) She changed her mind and said she's never having kids.

listen .. I have a cousin who had 2 kids by the time she was 15 .. although she LOVED those babies .. she was no where near ready to handle everything that goes with being a mom .. she even admitted that she thought it would be like taking care of a puppy or something like that .. unfortunately her mother's health was rapidly deteriorating which kept her from helping out so after 2 yrs CPS had to step in and remove the kids from the home .. very sad situation .. be smart .. don't do that to an innocent baby!!

Taking care of a baby doesn't hurt, having a baby does. And you shouldn't be getting pregnant until your in the legal age.

yes it hurts but once you have a baby the pain soon goes away. The responsibility will stay with you until the baby is 18. That's 18 years of worrying about food, clothes, money, bills, job, school, his friends, his habits, his discipline and many other things. I was 20 when I got pregnant and it was very very hard. Wait until you have a nice job and a good partner and things will go better for you.

yes having a baby hurts.
being a mother is a full time responsibility 24/7.
at 14 you are not mentally ready to take on this responsibility, why would you want to?
focus on your education and on being a teen.
i know a woman who is 32 now and has 6 kids, she had her first at 15. all her children have different fathers and its very sad to hear that one kid goes to see their grandmother who is not the other kids grandmother and little ones don't understand why they are left out
