One of the most intelligent man I have ever known was my dad. He was a young boy living in Kentucky when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. He joined the army and just before he was to be part of the invasion of the mainland of Japan, the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. He lov.ed his country
Americans, he would often say are the most generous people on the planet. Americans give monetarily and sacrafice their lives as well. But we are an apathetic nation. We need a catalyst to bring us together, to rise up.
Whether it is ending global warming or ending the war there is not a people on the planet that can accomplish more. But he would say we are not united. We don't hestate to send our troops all over this planet but we don't protect our own borders.
How could people like they care about global warming when America's sons and daughters are dying for oil every day.
I watched an an episode of "The Closer" and the "bad" guy said,"I am just a tourist watching the last days of a dying nation". He said it with a smile. My eyes filled wih tears because I believe it to be true. Our country down on it's knees, bleeding and still we do very little. The words, "All gave some but some gave all" is not totally true. It doesn't address those who take away.
My son, twenty-three years old came to me. He said, "Mom, our country is in trouble. I hear people laughing and saying they're taking back our country and they put foreign flags in their yards and laugh and it makes me sick. I want to do something for our country. What can I do?" I was ashamed because I see the many serious problems we face today and I have no answers for my son
We live in a divided nation with thousnds of divisions. Everyone has his or her agend Our country needs to rally to one end and that is to preserve our nation. If we can unite under one cause and that would be to rid our nation of the corruption then we can do anything.
I wish Leo good luck. He is an impressive young man. My dad always said, "when you see something that is absolutley wrong and nothing is being done, look for the money" and that is what I would tell you." If we place good men and women in postions of power. But I am one American like so many around our nation's kitchen tables who are acutely aware of the problems but don't know what to do.
I think Leo is a ine actor with high ideals and a man who is willling to step up and do something. Maybe he could make a
about the last days of our planet and factor in the corrupt politicians who are the destructive device. At the same time, organize people to take this country back. He has an awesome meduim for communicating.
Use trailers to promote that this is a reality movie and utilize every means to move Americans to act as one driving force against the enemy within. God bless America, all of her children and especially those living every day in war and their families.

it's more about convincing people that humans are changing the world. it's a belief in science.

remind them that once upon a time, a scientist started out with an idea, a theory, and the result is every single thing we take for granted in the modern world.

If science is such a bunch of crap, just some left wing elitists trying to control you, or it conflicts with a religious belief and therefore can't be true - how come it all works?

Before Franklin, some unlucky sap had to ring the town bell to ward off the lightning. Thanks to Leyden, Franklin, Faraday, Volta, Ampère, Faraday, Henry, Maxwell, Edison, Tesla and Westinghouse - we have electricity in 99% of the homes in North America.

Careful, as when you confront the beliefs of the ignorant, the first reaction is violent denial. To have to accept that everything you believed is wrong is a convulsive experience. Its no wonder we avoid this confrontation at all cost. I personally went through a long period of depression starting around 1977 when I realized that things are much worse than popularly believed. Each of us has to make our own decision about what this means.

Some people you can reach, start slowly and be gentle. Some you can never reach. Everyone will come along in their own time.

Unfortunately, as you ask, it's a very real danger that not enough of us will come along quickly enough to make a difference.

There is not one. It is ecowarrior hype and it is doing tremendous damage to the fight to get action on Climate Change.

The extreme claims by the GW brigade have actually caused the US to cut - YES - cut research into dealing with climate problems!!!

In the New Year the UN will be publishing a report cutting the expected effects by 25% and the expected rise in sea level by half. All because they were grossly exaggerated in the first place.

Climate change is happening. Stopping carbon emissions, alternate power sources, recycling and a whole host of things are necessary and the vast majority of scientists, environmentalists, politicians and thinking people recognise it.

What we really need is to drop the over hyped, highly exaggerated claims and the term 'Global Warming' altogether. Recognise Climate Change and seek to promote good scientific research and testing, open minded debate and above all ensure that honest figures and estimates are used.

If we cannot do that then there is no hope and the world will suffer!!!

Interesting to see that someone blaims big oil! Whilst cleaner methods are required does no one realise that apart from fuel a large proportion of it goes into making everything from plastics to food stuffs, cosmetics to medical equipment? That it is still the only viable lubricant? Take away the oil products and many factories would close, people would starve and we would probably find that it is replaced with far more damaging materials. Sort of proves the point that and open minded thinking is required here!!!

i've got faith it became any different way around for a protracted time, scientists that supported international warming have been kept away from and that i've got faith this is actual that the scientific information that the Bush administration amassed on international warming became altered. although there is not any question that the earth is warming up in basic terms looks at how plenty the glaciers international extensive have gotten smaller although i think of that the call continues to be out. each ice age has been preceded by ability of a warming era and scientists have reason to have faith that the time-physique for that's no longer unavoidably thousand of years yet would desire to be plenty plenty speedier. So are people inflicting international warming? I take a grey mindset to the project and say we specific the heck are no longer assisting. you could no longer deny the end result that people have on our surroundings. verify out China with that's lax regulations, the situation is an environmental nightmare. possibly international warming is a conflict cry for liberals yet hi could it no longer be extra suitable for us and the international if we went green besides international warming or no longer? Oh and actual hit upon a possible selection to grease. we could make the international a purifier place decrease down on respiratory ailments, acid rain, smog and better of all tell all those crackpot dictators who administration all the oil what to flow do with themselves! Heck in basic terms that on my own would desire to be sufficient for the government and massive company to push for substitute. regrettably I worry that the U. Allow him/her to migrate to a country which is already developed and has no need to resort to development efforts that involve global warming.

It’s very easy to convince yourself "to steal is bad" when you have already acquired enough wealth by stealing and is really afraid that somebody else will steal your goods.

I live in India. My country needs to say b.alls to global warming and march ahead with all kinds of development plans. One fifth of the entire human race of this world lives in my country and they deserve at least a decent life (average American citizen uses 19 times the resources an Indian citizen uses in his entire life).

May be I will think about global warming when we have reached our goal and will even start preaching about green house gases and how their development is harming the atmosphere to other countries.

It seems so obvious, but people like to be in denial about things they don't want to deal with. But people do like conspiracy and corruption stories, so just get some facts together on the so-called scientists who claim to be unsure. These are the people paid for by big oil, and a little research will prove that.

Just keep repeating big oil is behind the denial of GW, and it will start to sink in. Hopefully!

Some of the best scientits in the world have presented their findings. I think that is more important than anything.

It will take a while for it to become mainstream everywhere, especially in the US but likely it will.

Convert your braincell use instead to how you yourself can stop global warming. Let others be.

It's tough. Here are reasons why it's so tough.
1.Its the sort of thing people don't want to believe.
2.It's hard,if not impossible to prove.
3.The actors believe it and they are always on the wrong side of everything.

If you come up with proof, let me know.
