Looks attract per a individuals taste, Personality keeps.
Looks will fade, hopefully personality will blossom as you grow together.

The way I am, there has to be balance. I can't date someone unattractive or cute with a messed up personality. They go hand and hand for me. I'm not going to lie. I'm not shallow but I figure that because I can bring everything to the table, the other person should be able to bring that and maybe more. I'm an attractive person but I can have a messed up personality when I want to. It's crazy because I have met people that were cute and were just arrogant as hell and then I've met people that were ugly and wonderful. It's almost like you have to take what you don't have and something that you do, offer the most of what you do have because that's all you got.

Personality, Some one could be very sore on the eyes, but could have a personality that is amazing, but i guess that depends on what you are asking the question for, if it is in the case of finding or being in a relationship, you have to be attracted to the person, otherwise you may have not givin them the chance to get to know their personality. But in a case of a friend it reall doesnt matter.

Personality by far. Having a good looking man is nice but imagine if he was nice but yet abusive. Personality means everything to me, looks come in second hands down.

If you're looking for a one night stand, looks will attract
If you're looking for a relationship, personality is more important. A relationship based on physical attraction will end when age kicks in and wrinkles appear

I think most people are initially drawn to looks, but personality is more important in my opinion. I've met guys that I haven't been attracted to at first, but the more I got to know them, the more attractive they became. Looks fade, but personality lasts forever.

In the end, personality, but looks are important as well. You need both a mental and physical attraction.

Both are important. I've seen some guys who look heaps good but I get to know them and there awful (bad personality) and I find their looks revolt me after that. And I say looks because I think I'd need to be attracted to them as well : )

Both are important in their on way. Simply put, Looks get you in the door, but Personality will keep you in the room. Another one is Looks are fleeting but your personality is forever.

in an ideal world it would be personality but in the real world it's looks. Sex sells and we are all out there making ourselves better looking to get what we want
