if you was a child again?

If i was a child again i would wish for what i had when i was a child i am one of 13 children and i do remember that we all had Christmas day together and i loved it. Today we are all married an have our own children i love having christmas with my husband and children but i also long for the Christmas days when i was little and got the simplest thing as a gift and enjoyed what Christmas was really about going to mass that morning coming home sitting down to dinner and then playing game by an open fire it was the only day we all had together. So don't worry if you haven't manage to get what every one has asked for just enjoy what you have and that is the love of your family around you its the greatest gift of all(love).

The Christmas stocking was a treasure trove of the unknown when I was very small. The orange at the bottom was usually a bit of a disappointment though. Having said that, the orange was probably a hangover from wartime when fruit was really rare and a jaffa would have been considered bloody brilliant!

if i could have anything i wanted for christmas it would be to have my granmmom here with me she was the one who raised me and christmas was her time of the year and she has been gone now for 4 years i dont really get in to christmas anymore i try to put on a show for my kid but truth is i cant ait until it is over this time of year if about love and family and friends so many people forget that this time of year and are only worried about what they are getting i dont have a lot to give but i try to make it the best for my kid. i try to teach her that is not all about what you get for christmas but about who was born on christmas day. i have never really understood the who gift giving. i mean come when it is your birthday does everyone get gifts that day no just you. i am sorry i got off the question but i just wanted to share my feelings with you and anyone that reads this.

if i was a child again ......id opt for the christmas where my dad was alive and we had not alot of money it was the most magical christmas ever and i still wear the jumper

I always wanted a scalextric when i was young, but my parents were on a low income and couldn't afford it so they got me a Matchbox Motorway, i had 100's of hours of fun with that, i will never forget how they scrimped and saved to get me 2nd best, a memory i see every xmas.My hat goes off to them for what they did for us kids at xmas time on such little money they had.

a bike i only had the one where my kid brother had several
he was jealous as it was bigger than the one he got that year and stripped mine of all the bits he could within 3 months of Christmas until i only had the frame and wheels (without tires)and he took them when he was in his 20's to make a go cart for his son.

It would have to be a go-cart. I always got everything I wanted for Christmas, but instead of getting a go-cart , I got a skateboard. Now which one is more dangerous?
