hello
my husband and i got married in may 06 ( we have 2 childrens already) and after 3 month come to know he made second wedding in pakistan in septembre06
now he is saying our wedding is not valid according to muslim law
but he always insisted on getting married with me in france
and i always ask him to make nika in pakistan but he says it is too much expensive there
if any body has an answer or explanation just tell me?

um.. well i'm not entirely sure but my guess is that unless you verify your wedding at a pakistani court of law, your marriage in france (thought accepted there) might not be considered in pakistan.
but you can always contact the pakistan embassy or consulate nearest to you for further details and possible extraction of your husband from pakistan for investigations..
