In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
And no soul can die except by god's leave, - a decree with a fixed term. And whoever desires the reward of the present world, We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We will give him thereof; and We will surely reward the grateful.
Every soul shall taste of death. And you shall be paid in full your rewards only on the Day of Resurrection. So whosoever is removed away from the Fire and is made to enter Heaven has indeed attained his goal. And the life of this world is nothing but an illusory enjoyment.

Oh I hate that. I get that feeling every once and a while. I'm pretty paranoid at those times... Once I didn't get in a car all day because for some reason I thought I was going to crash. I think it's normal to feel that way sometimes, death scares everyone. Don't worry about it. If everyone could feel when they were really about to die, why do so many people still die in freak accidents?

Ok, supposedly, in some religous beliefs, a person can feel death approaching.
But, honestly, I don't believe that at all.
You 'sense' that you are going to die when your 50 feet underwater and can't swim up.
You 'sense' your about to die when you see a car barreling toward you.
You might just be paranoid, but sometimes things happen that make you feel this way.
Have there been alot of murders in your area?
Any recent deaths in your family?
Anything exceptionally weird or out of place happening in your life at the moment that is causing you to stress out?
That's all I have to say.

My father was a US ARMY RANGER in WWII and twice he said to me that he could sense when a person was going to die! I have had something similar happen twice! Both times the other person came up to me an asked if we knew each other and we had never met before and then the next day each of those two people died! One was the mayor Corning of Albany, NY and we were standing on the front steps of City Hall and he was waiting for his driver to bring his car around! What does this mean, can anyone tell me?

Difficult to answer! No one around with experience, and who eventually died, left to tell, is there? Even serious illness and uncurable deseases, in themselves, are not a final proof to die!!! I know a person, who was suffering from cancer and who was told by different doctors that she was not going to last for more than 6 months. But Alas!, she is still alive today - twenty five years later- and stil with cancer! She burried 7 doctors among those who had treated her and gave her ultimetum! She gave birth to 2 children and still alive, going to hospital for treatment!
On the other hand, I know a lot of friends, I suppose you know some too, who are neither themselves nor us or their friends have even thought of contamplating their death; because they were pritty healthy, happy and dynamic. Yet, suddenly they doroped dead!!!
What you have, in my opinion, is just a sense of helpness or unhappiness, that's all. Be happy, get around and about. Meet your friends and seek their indulgence and advice. I myself had experienced such feelings once. But managed to get out of it, by doing what I am advising you to do.

Some have had that experience and lived. Those that did, changed what they were doing or going and the feeling(s) went away.
Many patients and older folks get that feeling and then they die.
Soldiers get that feeling a lot as do we all at times.
Not to fret, I feel that someone is watching over you and giving you a warning of sorts.

If not you are feeling well, just see a doctor.
If you are physical fit, cherish your every moments by doing things you have always wanted to do. e.g.caring and helping other less fortunate people. That way, you will not be preoccupied with negative thoughts. You will not regret even if your worst nightmare do come true. cherish life!!!!!

Hi Blossom, It is possible but mostly you get this feeling because of morbid thoughts or when you are feeling down, and as this passes you usually find you were wrong thankfully.

It might be a sign of depression. It is very prevalent this time of year. You really should talk it over with a doctor.
