The video is one hours long, I only want to take out 15 minutes of this video to view over and over again and save it on my computer. How should I do that without "ruining" the original video?

You can use Nero or any other video editing software. I've used a few and found Nero easy to use.

place the tape on a powerful magnet at the 15 minute mark. Leave it for an hour or so. This should extract the particles you need.

Doug's right - get some video editing sw for your computer, so you can import the video. You will be editing the video on your pc, so the video on tape or disk will stay intact...

Hope this helps!
