Asking for Signs?

I have to come up with this major decision before this year (2006) ends and I'm having trouble choosing between several possibilities. I'm a bit desperate and have been seeking guidance and for clear answers from God as which to choose. It's been on my mind for the last couple of weeks. I've talked to a priest (well actually he didn't give me an answer to my question), and then spoke to my therapist (it made me more confused). I'm very stressed about this. And quite honestly have resorted to maybe asking for a sign from God. Any suggestions/ideas on how I should go about in doing this so I know I won't make a mistake in making my decision? Thanks.

Read the story in Judges chapter 6 About a fleece. I suggest you always go to God. That has been my plan. But he does not always answer right away. Sometimes He delays for our own good.
