What about those who live perfect Christian lives without realising they are Christians? What about those who fill tehir lives doing good deed and being a good person but never pray and never go to church?

Also

What about those who have been SAVED but are not nice people? I know plenty of 'Christians' who are cruel or unkind or hurtful but believe they will be saved.

I am a Christian I think, I just have so so so many questions!

Thanks

God knows if you lived a good and caring life. If you truly take care of your fellow man and live a good Christian life, you do have a relationship with God, even if you don't see it. I believe God will reward those people because of their good acts. Our God is a loving and caring God who forgives. However, if you claim you are saved and act in bad ways, God will punish you more severely for using His name in your ways. God bless!

You cannot be a christian without realizing it, it is a personal committment between you and the Lord.
Romans 10:13. You have to realize what you are (we all are sinners in Gods eyes) you have to realized that Christ paid the price for your sin with the shedding of his blood. You have to believe that he died and rose again on the third day and you have to do what Romans 10:13 says to do. And believe Christ was who he said he was......and who the Bible says he was. John 1:1 and John 1:14, and 1Timothy 3:15,16.
Doing good deeds won't get you to heaven For by grace are ye saved not by works lest any man should boast.
There are allot of good people headed for hell because they are depending on works or they think they are a "good" person, however Revelation 21:8 pretty well tells people who won't make it to heaven. Good luck in finding your answers.

First of all no one is perfect, okay? All Christians, even the real Christians - are imperfect - so remember that. We can be Christians and not go to church - but if we are Real Christians we will want to please God and go to church and talk with Him - through prayer. Real Christianity is serving Christ and becoming more and more Christ-like on a daily basis - changing every day. I also know Christians who are not nice people - but that does not change what I need to be - I need to focus on God and what I need to be - looking to God and not looking around at other people. It can be hard but with God's help you can do it. I'm glad you are saved. Listen, sometimes I don't feel saved but I know I am without a doubt - I have the Holy Spirit that bears witness within me. Listen - remember this - Christians are the same as everyone else - we have troubles, sins, hurts, hangups, bad things that happen to us, fears, persecutions, all the same things an unsaved person has - but we have one thing they don't have - that is Jesus - our Help, our Savior, our Lord, our Intercessor - you is there for us - to help us - to be with us in the tough times, the bad times, the fearful times - that is the difference - our help comes from a different source - God the Father and His Son Jesus. I hope this helps dear one. God so loves you and I am praying for you.

The world is full of people who do soul searching, people who believe that if they do good deeds, they will be saved from the fires of hell! Religion is a guide to a GOOD way of life. Christians who do not practice what they are suppose to believe, will need to answer to their creator when the time comes. Saved or NOT saved is still a question mark! Do your part and let the Almighty do the rest.

Practice what you believe and you are one soul less to be saved!!!

This step you are considering in personal. Only between you and God. You and God are the only ones in the room. No others, good people, bad Christians, etc. ....kick them out of your mind.

God is holy and cannot look upon sin. Since you have sinned (the Bible says everyone has) you may not be in God's presence or have a relationship with Him. You are lost and "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 3:23)

So now what?

This is where Jesus comes in. "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He fulfilled the Ten Commandments, so He lived that sinless life you or I didn't. Then "He presented Himself as a sacrifice"...in your place and mine.

God's wrath against sin is appeased.

Admit to God you have sinned, and you need your sinned covered by the sacrificial blood of Jesus. Then thank Him and praise Him for his loving gift of redemption to you.

God remembers your sin no more. You are now perfect in His eyes and worthy to be called His son. When Satan reminds you of your past, remind him of his future.

Ask your Heavenly Father to lead you to a Bible believing church and grow. Find your purpose. You were born with it.

There is no such thing as living a perfect christian life in my opinion. I was told that no matter how good of a person i was and despite my kindness, if I am not saved by believing in your Christ, i will go to hell.

Apparently, no matter what kind of person you are, you will be accepted into heaven if you accept Jesus as your savior. It does not seem to matter if you are a child molester or a serial killer.,

That said, christianity teaches that what you do in this life is not as important as where you end up when you die. Pretty freaky!

"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

This is God's promise to mankind. There is no qualification for "whosoever". There is only one way to heaven. Good or bad, if one does not accept that way, then one must suffer eternal separation from God.
When one is, indeed, saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, one is "born again"....old things pass away and one begins a new life in Christ, indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God. Not perfect.
Still capable of mistakes and poor behavior but on the way to Glory.
Being good, unfortunately, does not get one to heaven. If it did, we would not need the sacrifice of Jesus. We could do it on our own. But we can't. So sayeth the Lord thy God!
Beware! All those professing to be Christians are not. Only God knows what relationship each person has with Him.
Do not judge the righteous by a few who profess to be but are not.
Talk to God. He will open your eyes to the Truth.
May God bless you.

First, No-one lives a pefect Christian life without realizing they are a Christian. Secondly, no-one lives a Christian life being cruel. I am not sure you understand God or Christianity. First do not be fooled by the world and the ways of the world...these are Satans decpetion tactics. Satan works in the lives of people, in places and in events. He wants to distort the truth to you and other lost souls about God and Christianity. To be a Christian means to follow God. It is a conscious choice. To be a Christian and be saved, we cannot earn it by good deeds. Many people are decieved and think they can buy their way to heaven by "being good". That is not God's way...even Satan new the scripture, did good deeds, he is suave, handsome and friendly...that is an act. It is not genuine or good...it is simply an act of deception. There are many actors in this world too. Many people put on a front for the world to see. They charm, and play it up for the public image. Do not be a fool and fall for this crap. This is the work of Satan. He is crafty. Personality is fake, fake, fake. Any true Christian can see through this. Character is genuine. It is what a person does when no-one is looking. It is the inner thoughts, ideas, values, morals, ethics, and the true person. Personality is an act, designed to portray a certain image...an image of the person that they want the world to see them as...it is a put on hoax. A true Christian is pure. They are the same at home alone as they are in public or anywhere. God knows what you think, say and do. He does not judge you on how many friends you have, what others think about you, what job you have, how much money you make, how educated you are, or any worldly things. God knows who you are inside and out. He looks at your soul. He judges what you think, what your intentions are and how you live. Christians, real Christians know this and live accordingly to this standard. You are distracted by the ways of the world. IF you are looking at people and judging people and trying to decide who is a Christian and who is not and who you think is good or bad then you will never get beyond this trap the Devil has you in...he wants you to think and live this way because that is how he keeps you from God. If you want to find truth, see God, become a Christian...then do not look to the world to do so...look to God. He will show you himself and truth. Get on your knees, alone, talk to him, cry out to him for peace and love, ask him to forgive you of your sins, tell him you are confused, tell him that you are weary from this worldly stuff. Ask him to give you salvation, accept that Christ came to the earth and died for your sins. Christ paid the price for your sins. Ask God to free you from sin. Tell him that you have made a mess of your life when you lived for yourself. Tell him you are deciding to follow him. Then ask him to show you people, places and things to bring God to you. Follow him. He will show you the way, the truth and the light. Next do not fall back to the traps of the sinful world. Start to read Gods word, the BIble. Study it. Build a relationship with God. Pray without ceasing, daily. Find a church or BIble study based on the Bible. Surround yourself with Christians. Stay away from people, places and things that destroy you. Get baptized. Publically acknowledge your love for Christ. Give testimony of how Christ lives. You will be on the path that God has designed for you...then and only then will you see how foolish and silly this way of thinking and speaking is that you have stated in this question. It is a trap, you have stepped in this trap that Satan has carefully and methodically placed before you and he has led you into it...get out now before the next trap is a landmine to permanently destroy you.

God is every where. Doing good deeds helps purify mind and it helps seeing the being within. Praying anywhere with love in heart is fine. Going to religious places is fine till one one knows that god resides within one. Serving people in pain is serving god. Following rituals is not so important.
