It's up to the individual preson. Personall, I work out 3-4 time a week. They say to maintain weight, you must work out absolutely 3 times a week (minimum). if you want to seriously lose a lot of weight and/or are a sports fan/professional athlete, this would of course be way more times. As long as you are eating okay and getting in those regular work outs, you should be fine.

Yes, your doing the right amount of fitness sessions. As the above comment says you need a days break for your body to adjust to the exercise and for your muscles to adapt as well.

Yes, definately possible if you keep your heart rate up for at least twenty minutes during those three or four times a week. Good job doing that, I wish I could
