I am a teacher, and personally, when students (parents of students) remember them with a gift, it is always appreciated, and it can be anything, candles, bath supplies, a picture, a drawing or even gift certificates. If you want to get her something you know she'll need, I would say a gift certificate for a teaching supply store in your area. Usually teachers receive money so that their school can buy supplies, but a teacher's favorite place is still the teacher supply store, when we can buy stickers, motivational rewards, calendar items or books and resources that help inthe school.

Good Luck!

Since teachers pay out of pocket for most supplies I think gift certificates for office supply stores or a basket full of crayons and markers and the like is always good. However, if you want to go a different route, how about a gift certificate to blockbuster, (or any other video rental store), a box of microwave popcorn and a box of hot chocolate mix for a relaxing night in.

blow that image up to about 12 inches tall trace it onto plywood and cut it out. Spray paint it with chalkboard paint then paint over the chalkboard paint to make a red border around the apple part leaving the center just chalk board and then paint the stem brown and the leaf green. drill a small hole through the leaf and feed a "cord " through and tie a knot in the back. Tie a piece of chalk onto the cord in front and put a picture hanger on back so she can hang it in the classroom
OR
go to the craft store and find a smooth bell canning jar(or use an old large mouth mayo jar) spray paint the whole thing with chalkboard paint. Tie a 1/2 inch ribbon that has a teacher theme (apples, ruler something like that) around the neck and fill with pens pencils rulers highlighter etc (or her favorite hard candies ;p)

Merry Christmas

i'm a instructor. of direction, I on no account anticipate a modern, even nonetheless it does sense spectacular to understand that my no longer ordinary artwork became favored by making use of a kinfolk. Writing a thank-you observe is an quite spectacular ingredient. i could advise writing a pair sentences in a card or on table absolute to particular your thank you. As for a modern, individually i like to get something that i will use. present enjoying cards are spectacular yet are impersonal. indexed decrease than are some suggestions of issues that I even have enjoyed receiving: rings, a bracelet, a spectacular lunch bag, a ornament for my table, hand cleansing soap/lotion, a serving dish, and flora. even nonetheless, any present which you get would be wonderful. it relatively is the theory that counts.

Teachers will appreciate anything you give them. Most would love something homemade, over something bought. I usually make cake's in a cup. Or something like a quillow, let the kids help me make something. etc. Even make up a poem, and put your childs picture on the top of it, print it out on your computer and frame it. I have done this before also, but usually at the end of the year.. I guess it doesn't matter. Good luck

Between my two ASD children we had 13 teachers and aides. I bought Blockbuster gift cards of varying denominations (more for the ones who had him all day every day). I added a bag of microwave popcorn and a Hershey bar. I tied it all up with a big red ribbon. It was a big hit. Who doesn't want a night of movies, popcorn and the all important, chocolate.

If she deals with pre school children all day perhaps some sort of massage gift certificate would be in order or you could even put together your own sort of gift baket with relaxing scented candles, bath salts, body mud masque, facial masque, massage oil (?) and a relaxing CD of natural ocean noises...

Teachers usually have to buy their own supplies...so I got my son's pre-k teacher a gift certificate to Staples for $25. Then I made her a basket with jams, candies and another gift certificate for $10 to Starbucks. She absolutly loved it!
