I'm guessing very few people know her.
However, if you're talking about about Mary Magdalene; I'm guessing they do.
Merry Christmas!!!!

Do you mean Sister Mary Madeline who was among one of the pioneers at Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care?
Or Madeline Marie a 7 week old infant that died - after who the Mary Madeline Project was named - an organization that provides comfort and support to grieving families that have suffered the death of a baby.
Or do you mean Mary Magdeline? One of Jesus' disciples that anointed Jesus' feet with her tears. The biblical figure some people think was Jesus' mate and mother of his child?
Most scholars agree that the possibility that Mary Magdeline is the holy grail may be a slim possibility but most likely highly improbable. If it was, Christians might be experiencing similar sectarian disagreements as are Muslims. Whose major sects are violently divided over the bloodline of the prophet Muhammed. Christianity has enough troubles as it is.
Why wouldn't they know about it? Maybe its not well known but I'm sure a small percentage of Muslims are aware of her existence.

In islam, we do not have this person, but from the point of Christianity she existed.
Ex-Catholic here elhamdulillah now Muslim....
Here is the thing:
1-) On Luke 8:2 She is mentioned as one of the people who provided material goods for Jesus (PBUH) and his followers.
2-) Jesus (PBUH) is said to have casted 7 demons off of her
3-) on Matt 27:55 Mark 15:41 and Luke 23:55 she seems to accompany Jesus (PBUH) to the last trip he made to Jerusalem.
4-) Also she is mentione in one of the stories of the ressurection as being in the tomb of juses (PBUH) and she went and told the apostle Peter about it.
5-) It is said she met Jesus on the way there if I am correct and said something like:
"Jesus said to her, 'Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, "I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God."'"
------------------------------...
Any who I am a Freak who memorized the bible so please forgive me if I made any mistakes as I am getting old and I did this in my teens.
Ps. For the curious people, These are the Christian accounts acording to the bible... nothing to do whith ISLAM or Me!
Salamaleikum,
Muslimah

You mean Mary Magdeline. I'm not sure if she's part of their teachings or not.

Follower of Jesus nothing more, nothing less.
THe gospel of Mary--written 3rd Century
Phillip, Thomas--2nd or 3rd Century (not entirely sure)
Synoptic gospels--40-80 ad
(more reliable)
Don't just read a work of fiction and accept it as fact, please.
