Listen - follow Jesus Christ and be a Christian. Don't let man's religion get you down. Come to know Christ and have a personal relationship with Him and God the Father - then you will be a True Christian. Then find a Bible-believing church - that could be Baptist church, Methodist, nondenominal church - any of these that believe that the Bible is "God-breathed" - totally inspired of God but penned by men. Ask them and they will tell you what they believe and then start going there - God will guide you. Once you are saved you will have the Holy Spirit to help guide you too. Start reading God's Word also and that will guide you to the Truth of God's Word. Blessings dear one and I pray you find the Truth - Jesus Christ - and the right church for you.

Sounds like you're not of any particular denomination. I'm a former Baptist, now a non-denominational Christian. That is, the only "label" I wear is the label of my Savior, Jesus Christ (not to get preachy).
I suggest that if you want to know the subtle / not so subtle differences between the various denominations you listed (Methodist, Anglican (Episcopal), Baptist, Quaker, Mormon, all but the Mormon are essentially "Christian" in their teachings. All teach a basic belief / faith in The Creator/God. Mormons alone (of the group you mentioned) teach that you can become a God. That is not at all what Christianity teaches. IF you wish to break it down to "what does each group teach", I recommend that you type in the label of each denomination that you are curious about into your favorite search engine. Be sure not to overlook Wikipedia. I will add one more thing: The only denomination you listed that is actually in the New Testament would be the Baptists, followed closely by the Methodists. Bear in mind that Jesus was BAPTIZED. He was also baptized by His older cousin, "John The Baptist." An historical argument can be made that John the Baptist began the Baptist church, so it would be closest to the truth of all modern-day churches.

What DENOMINATION? How about a three dollar bill? You can't get any
more queer than that.
How about thinking for yourself for CHANGE.
You got off to a good start when you lapsed now self reliance can be a boon
to your life.
Try it. If you have the right stuff you just might like it.
If the above advice is not to your liking , then consider Reverend Joel Olsteen's form of " Prosperity Ministry" for your adherence. Why should members
of that other religion get all the world's money?

If you are a lapsed catholic, you would be eligible to have a look at the statements of faith from the other churches you mentioned and see if you could fit in any of the others.
A word on the Mormons - they are not considered a part of the historical Christian church movement because of the number of heterodox teachings in it.

You well be a lapsed Catholic but you are still a Catholic, but you are also at the moment an a-la-carte Christian.

It's good that you're questioning your faith. Nobody should accept others truths simply because, "My pappie said dis is da truth!".
Find a introductory book on world religions : Huston Smith has written a couple, and there's always the Dummies/Idiots series. Find something that speaks to you, reflects the way you want to live, and accept it.

The label doesn't matter. Just find a church you can learn the Word of God in, and grow in your faith. Ask God for His divine direction.
