I was thinking of getting contact lenses myself but I'm not really sure. I mean does it hurt when you put them in? Is it uncomfortable? Can you play a sport with them in? Like, what if I was playing football and the ball hit me in the face, is that dangerous with contacts in?? Thanks for the help!

I've wore contacts for 16 years. I HATED wearing glasses, and I'm severely near-sighted. It doesn't hurt at all to put them in. Once you get used to them, they are comfortable (much more comfortable than heavy glasses on your face). And I got hit in the face with a soccer ball once with them in, and it didn't damage my lenses or my eyes (I had a hell of a black eye, but my lenses were OK). As your getting used to them you'll use a lot of contact lens eyedrops, but once your eyes are use to them, you'll hardly ever need them. I'd recommend them, but I hated my glasses!

You can do any sports with contacts except swimming ( or you have ho keep your head high above water). It doesnt hurt, when you put them in, but you will need a lots of practice.

i tried contacts, but for me it was just too hard to put them in, i honestly wouldnt suggest it unless your so low-self-esteemed that you just HATE how you look in glasses that would make you want contacts. contatcs arent that great, i seriously perfer glasses

with contacts if you loose one... (which is easy) thats not good, and it could also tear, ect

glasses are better in my opinion
