You must take her to the vet as soon as possible - she must be suffering from terrible skin irritation, and the vet is the only one who can give you something to sort it.

Hi Ya, I have just gone through this with my cat, loads of over cleaning to the point no fur and very red skin. Our vet prescribed a tablet form of Ovarid and this seems to stop the cleaning and settles the cat down, old age and hormones is what our vet put it down to, the tablets for her cost less than £3 a month so inexpensive to cure. Use frontline as well it gets rid of any nasty fleas or mites that cats come into contact with as well, good luck hope kitty better soon, TJ

One of my cat had the same problem. It was an allergy to flea bites even though we did not find many of them. My other cat had a similar problem (+ scratching) but it was not because of fleas and although we are not quiet sure why, it got solved with anti histamine tablets (prescribed by the vet). In any case take your cat to the vet asap as it must be very uncomfortable for her.

My cat did the exact same thing and the vets said this was due to stress and couldent do anything about it.
My cats fine now it only lasted for a couple of months.
I suggest you take your cats to the vets incase it is an irrtation or something better to be safe than sorry especially if your cats suffering.

I dont think cats can just "lick" their fur off to that extent. If the cat has been biting and tearing its fur off it probally has fleas or a skin condition. You should take your pet to the vet as soon as possible to be honest you shouldnt have let it get that bad.
I hope your cat feels better soon!

Some cats over groom for no apparant reason, just bcoz they'r extra clean! Vet might able to give you something to make her stop but it may be a problem for aslong as you have her.
Good luck to the little kitty =)

It could be a skin condition such as mange or an infestation of insects such as lice or fleas. Best to visit your local vet's for a check up!
