It seems that there's an unquenched thirst for power. Many people who are affected by these power seekers live day to day with fears and are merely surviving instead of really living. There are others who are cocooned in their own little worlds and are content with what they've been told, no questioning....no thinking or reflecting. Then there are those who live for the moment; pleasure seekers who drift through life, spirituality is merely a topic for a 2 minute conversation. Amidst all this there are true seekers and those who are hopeful of a more enlightened world. Who will succeed? Is it worth trying?

Yeah! Looking at the world today it seems "I want what I want and I want it now" kind of syndrome is prevailing and this of course gradually erodes all sense of spiritually. I personally feel the East has always been more spiritual that the West. Though the West overall may have greater material efficiency the East have always had a deeper understanding of the spiritual basis of life. But this too is now being lost with the relentless and what would seem unquenchable thirst for power. Sad. Will the true seekers fall too? I really don't know.. Who will succeed? I pray it will be the enlightened ones and not the blackguards from among us. Is it worth trying? Yes it is, and don't you ever think otherwise. Like they say "HOPE DIES LAST".

We are on the eve of destruction.

The United States, that used to be a nation that people around the world looked up to, has regressed. The highest court in the land puts its stamp of approval on the slaughter of the unborn for convenience. A previous president bragged that he had had sex with 200 different women while he was married was re-elected to a second term. His wife, Jezebel, will likely become President in 2008 and Ahab will likely become head of the UN. Most Americans are so materialistic that they have no room for the spiritual. Trading with Communist China is just one example of this. The US bit by bit is being sold to foreign companies and power players and no one seems to notice. True health information is difficult to obtain because of drug company influence in every level of government and commerce. Taxation, insurance, and interest is sucking the life blood from the common man and there is no end in sight. In 2005, when the media had everyone's attention focused on Terri Schiavo and Michael Jackson, the new Bankruptcy Bill was sliding through Congress like a greased monkey (thanks to 90 million in bribes from the credit card companies). This law (now in effect) is designed to grind the poor man into the dirt. Big chunks of the tax payer's money is being shipped to Babylon (Iraq). Prophecy is being fulfilled.

THE DEMAND FOR POWER EXCEEDS THE NEED FOR POWER. By being spiritual yourself, if you even influence one person your whole life to become more spiritual, you have at least made a difference, we cant do much on our own, but all of us together can, AS LONG AS SOME OF US REMAIN, THERE IS AT LEAST HOPE.

Thanks for caring.

Unfortunately it is in our nature to destroy ourselves and unless we stop being stubborn and turn to God we are heading for a vast spiritual wasteland and certain catastrophe.
