I used to ask my dad "why does god do this or that" and was always met with "god doesn't need a reason, he's god". Was that a good answer?

That aside, I never stopped asking those questions to myself and have since abandoned religion for free thought and atheism.

Yes! G-d created you and me and everything you see! And all that belongs to Him and therefore He does not need reason to do anything! Take care!

God has a reason for everything, and everything he does is for his purpose. We were all thoughts of God, but we do have free will, and that in it's self has it's reasons and purposes.

Why are you still asking yourselve those questions, if you don't believe in a God. You need to experince God, & not just think about it. Why would you still be thinking this, if there is no God.

Maybe your question should be phrased, "Why do people do this or that." Why do people allow this or that to happen, Why do people choose to cause so much hurt or evil. It's easy to blame it all on God or the devil. But how much of the suffering in this world is caused by our fellow man?
