You ask what is the best attraction or site to see in Hawaii well there is not just one there are a few.
1) Hana on Maui
2)Hanalei Bay on Kauai
3)Lani Beach
4)Black Sands Beach on The Big Island
5)Sunset Beach on the island of Honolulu.

If in Maui, there's not just one......there's many. You can watch the sunrise in Haleakala, Take the road to Hana and swim in the many waterfalls, Iao Valley (a mystical place for me), Go to any of the wonderful beaches, if you like serene clear blue beach I liked Napili Bay, if you like surfing go to Ho'okipa Beach. Don't forget to visit Molokai and take a mule ride. I took a helicopter ride around the whole island of Maui and it was breathtaking! If you're in Oahu, the beaches there are beautiful, clear and blue...so you can pull over just about anywhere and enjoy the scene. Of course there's also Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center, which I enjoyed, if you like learning about other cultures. For those who have been to Hawaii, I think they can agree that there's not just one attraction because there's just too many. I hope you enjoy your stay in Hawaii!

I wouldn't say there is just one thing that is the best, but for me the peace of Maui, the waterfalls, the fantastic views, the crystal clear water, the temperature, the food, the people, pearl harbor. For shopping go to Aloha stadium on Wednesday or Saturday in Honolulu, they have some great bargains. Make sure you stop at Lin's market and try the pineapple in dried plum...yummy

well I think most people have been saying Pearl Harbor, Arizona Memorial, and luaus. but I think that is the same thing every tourist does. Waikiki is beautiful but explore. There are so many other beautiful this on Oahu. Ask the locals when you are there for the way they go and what they like. Don't get all caught up in shopping!

Depends which island(s) you will be on. If you're going to be on Oahu, the USS Arizona memorial. If the Big Island, Volcanoes National Park. If on Molokai, which most people don't go to, take the mule ride down to the National Park that used to be a leper colony. That was my favorite thing about our whole trip to Hawaii!

If you are going to oahu, then I would have to say Pearl Habour and the Arizona Memorial. On a lighter note, if they still have it is the kodak hula show. Very fun and very colorful. Many cool photo ops at both.
