Give him a walk to the barn, have him cut a switch on the way, then figure it out for yourself. I am not saying beat the child, or abuse the child, but proper discipline properly applied and the child will respond.
Ben Franklin said that.
So does every Bible of every major Religion in the world.
My daddy spanked me once, I lied to him, he took a belt, gave me a whoopin, I never lied to him again. And as I grew older and wiser, I gained more respect for what he had done, rather than what he had not done. To be an Inactive Parent is to be Politically Correct, to be Politically Correct is a fools road to lunacy.

Thats a tough one. I remember my mom telling me once that giving them lots of love. Just keep loving him and showing him that you love him. He'll eventually come out of it and he's probably going through a phase considering that he's six years old. But don't spoil him. Good luck and just keep trying

try if you can to find out the cause of the anger, not always easy but talking to him simply about things trying to coax him to open up. If not can anyone else talk to him for you his dad, his grandparents his teacher ? just try to patient and let him know you love him may just be a phase he's going through. hope you can sort it out quickly

understand why he is acting like that. why is he mad at you?
explain why you are like that. if you think he has the right reasons, then show him you are willing to change.
but if you think he is unreasonable, explain to him why you do these things.
be consistent. be more patient.
he is still a kid, and i think its still easy to change his heart.
ill end this by saying, in showing love and affection theres no negative effects. so go and continue doing so.
goodluck!

Try taking off your belt and beating the crap out of him.
He'll listen to you then.
