Kitty, your talking about sin, not Christianity. All humans are sinners. Christians are sinners who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior. We try hard not to sin but as humans we are fallible so we do some of those things that you have mentioned above. You sound very angry and sad yourself. Christians just do the best they can. If you equate perfection with Christianity then you are misinformed or you misunderstand the concept of Christianity.

Read the Gospels. Many of the adjectives you use would have described the original Twelve perfectly.
We Christians sometimes do things that are not very Christian, true ... but major league baseball players sometimes let easy ground balls roll between their legs.
You seem to think that being a Christian means to be perfect. Where'd you get that idea?

My opinion is that I am a real Christian & the works of the flesh you are talking about are sinfullness. We all have the emotions that you describe. We all have negative feelings, sinful tendancies. Coping with our imperfections makes us the person we are & the way we live our life. To the degree we carry on the works of the flesh makes the person we are. If we dwell & live constantly with the negitive feelings, that will be our life. Praying to Jehovah God helps us cope with negative feelings & we live our lives the best way we can.

My opinion is you do not seem to understand the scope of forgiveness. All are sinners and fall from the Lord...that is true as you stated. But a Christian is the one who will take his sins to Jesus and lay them at the foot of the cross and ask for forgiveness because he truly is sorry for doing the things you have mentioned and is forgiven through the grace of Jesus.

Christians are real people who are not above doing all of those things the only difference is they KNOW when they have been like that and pray for forgiveness. No one said they were perfect.

God gave us free will. That allows us to make bad choices along with the good.
Being a Christian means you believe in Christ. You could be a total monster and still be a Christian (Hitler for example).
Your confusing Christian ideals with being a Christian.

That's not Christians, that's "people". All Christians fall short of their goals, as do all Jews and Muslims and Buddhists and humanists and everyone else.
Life is all about striving, all about trying, all about improving, not being perfect from the start.

Matt 7:1-5
1{Don't Condemn Others--} "Stop judging others, and you will not be judged.
2For others will treat you as you treat them. Whatever measure you use in judging others, it will be used to measure how you are judged.
3And why worry about a speck in your friend's eye when you have a log in your own?
4How can you think of saying, 'Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the log in your own eye?
5Hypocrite! First get rid of the log from your own eye; then perhaps you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend's eye.
(NLT)
Rom 3:23-24
23For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard.
24Yet now God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins.

We're humans, and by nature we sin. The bible says we can't avoid sin, because our body's sin by nature. But we can be forgiven, and we can do good through the holy spirit.
"Love keeps no record of wrong."
