i researched this and disd find some info on it, Men and women are told not to grow their pubic hair, armpit hair, or their fingernails and toe nails. Islam requires all men to be circumcised, grow beards, and trim their moustaches. These are part of the cleanliness code in Islam.
there are some really strict rules on this.
as far as I know there are no such rules in any other religions..

I'm a Muslim and I don't see what's wrong with being clean. Muslims, men and women, must be clean when they turn to their God and we pray five times a day. Before praying we need to wash our hands, mouth, nose, face, part of the head above the forehead, arms, ears, neck and feet. Hygiene is veeeeeery important in Islam. :)

Women are not actually required to shave anywhere in the world. They have that freedom, they just choose to abandon that freedom for "cosmetic" purposes.

There is no set rule in Catholicism, but beauty, health is top on there list. We are educated this through family life and school.
