i was told by a friend, that... the bible states that 1/3 of the angels were kicked out with satan when he refused to obey god's command... is this true for muslims also?

The story of the devil being kicked out is in the Old Testament. Muslims have the Old Testament too. The difference is that they don't believe in Jesus or the New Testament In place of it they have a prophet Mohammad and the Koran.

P.S. the bible speaks of 'fallen angels' in a few (very few) places, but it doesn't say anywhere that Lucifer took a 1/3 of them with him.

It is true but the bible doesn't state exactly how many angels were kicked out. The reason the devil devil was kicked out was because he became proud, you know, conceited. With pride comes a lot of things and one of them is that he thought he was better than God, that he could be God and that he didn't need God. He influenced all the other angels to be disobedient just like he influences us here on earth.

But otherwise don't compare the Bible with the Muslims/muslim bible because it is wrong and the two are totally different things. The Bible is holy and theirs is not.

I know this answer is going to be deleted but muslims are of occult and their god is not real.

I believe Satan was the only Angel who did not obey God and got banned from God.
The Koran says; that God created Adam and asked his Angels to kneel in front of Adam. Satan was the teacher of the Angels and was created from fire and Adam was created from dirt; this is what Satan could not accept. Satan answered God that "he" will not show respect to anything that is "lower" than "him".

My English might be not good enough to explain this but this is what we have learned in Islam about it and what Muslims believe in Turkey.

I do not specifically remember the Bible saying that. Of course, it has been a long time, and my memory is not what it once was.

Generally speaking, up to Abraham, there is no disagreement between the old testament and the Muslim texts, but I'm not sure where in the Bible this is supposed to be....I think you should ask your friend to show you that particular passage.

Both scriptures indicate a casting down to earth.
"And his [Satan's] angels were hurled down with him".
