A friendly challenge to the religious people out there. Some people say that praying can make things happened in the world that otherwise wouldn't. I often get told, "I'll pray for you," all the time, but I don't buy that. But lets be fair, a straightforward way to determine for certain if the power of prayer can turn an angry mans heart to god. Just shoot me an email to accept my challenge, and pray for me as often as you can for the next 30 days. If there is power in prayer, then a group of people all praying for me to find god should be able to push me towards it. If after thirty days there is no change in my opinion of religion, then we'll understand the results of prayer a little better. If at the end of the time period, I have turned to god, then it will demonstrate the power of faith. The clock is ticking, and the deadline is 5:00 A.M Central Standard Time on January 14th 2007.

You don't seem to get it do you?
Here it goes again. God does what he wants. So by definition whatever happens ... its all God's will.... even if the result is absurd. The best you can make out of a test is to conclude that God's will is absurd, but you can't prove that God will doesn't occur, simply because that's not the variable. See! The variable is God's will which different people can try to analyze.
There was an experiment done to see the effect of prayer on patients who are taking a surgery and how prayer can prevent complications after the surgery. The result, if you haven't heard about this experiment before is that prayer has no effect at all. Even worse, those who were told that they were prayer for got worse than those who knew they weren't prayer for!

One one the hardest things to understand was the fact that the God reveals the truth only to those He wants to. So, you cannot become a believer if the God doesn't want you to be. Then I had a problem understanding our free will. How is it possible to be able to decide upon your life if the God makes decision instead? Well, take a cat and put it in a box. She will move inside that box as she wants. Make a hole in that box and she will probably go out thought it. Close the box and leave it for a month, when you open it what will you find inside? I'm sure you understood the metaphor and there's no need to say that you are somebody's cat. Can you see the hole?

If we prayed for you, I believe that it would do little good. God says that he will answer our prayers, but many do not understand that that does not mean that God will do whatever we ask of him. He can answer no. God wants us to have free will because he is loving, and a loving God would not force people to spend eternity with Him. Clearly, you have made up your mind already, and your choice is clear; You want people to pray that you will become a Christian, and then you will tell them that you aren't a Christian at the end of the 30 days. My guess is that you hope to lead some believers astray. It saddens me that you hold so much contempt for God, but it is still your choice what you want to do with the rest of your life. I can only hope that you make the right one.

God does not move man to do his will. The man does Gods will on his own. Men who say they do it for God will are fools,Those who deny God's will are foolish. Those who are doing his will need not say it and he need not will it... for it is done.
So those who pray for you are the fools praying for the foolish. His will may not sway men's hearts that would make him the king of fools who pray for the foolish. Your will is your own and you will come on your own if you decide and he will never take that a away from you or that would make him a king of another fool.

"THOU SHALT NOT TEMPT THE LORD THY GOD."
You put a deadline on God. Someday you may really face your own deadline.
Christ didnt say "I will give my life for you, if you answer by a certain date."
YOU ARE MOCKING GOD, AND HIS BELIEVERS
When people say I will pray for you
IF THEY TAKE ONLY ONE MINUTE OF THEIR TIME,
IT WAS TIME THEY SPENT CARING FOR YOU.
PRAYER IS NOT A BRAINWASHING INSTRUMENT
PRAYER IS A LOVE LETTER TO GOD ASKING FOR BLESSING FOR YOU.
I hope you realize how good it is that people care enough for you to take the time to pray for you.

God gave you free will.
While our prayers may help show you the way, they can't make you take it.
Your test proves nothing about prayer at all.

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
God is the light of the heavens and the earth. His light is as if there were a lustrous niche, wherein is a lamp. The lamp is inside a glass-globe. The globe is, as it were, a glittering star. The lamp is lit from the oil of a blessed tree -an olive - neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil well-nigh would shine forth even though fire touched it not. Light upon light! God guides to His light whomsoever He pleases. And Allah sets forth parables for men, and Allah knows all things full well.
O children of Adam, We have indeed send down to you raiment to cover you nakedness and to be a means of adornment; but the raiment of righteousness - that is the best. That is of the commandments of Allah, that they may remember.
And when there fell upon them the punishment, they said, 'O Moses, pray for us to thy Lord according to that which He has promised to thee. If thou remove from us the punishment, we will surely believe thee and we will surely send with thee the Children of Israel.'
