You must clearly make a destinction between "being in love" and to "love somebody"

Somewhere in your brain, and I think it it to do with natural selection, you carry the blueprint or "picture" of the one you will marry one day. If this "picture", or a close copy of this "picture" come past, you know it and then the "in love" story kick in.

"Being in love" is the chemical reactions of your hormones in your body to signal your brain that this can be the one. You feel better than you ever imagined possible and most of the time, you act funny as well. You usually have no controll over the "in love" section of the process.

To "love someone" is much different. It has all to do with commitment, trust, giving time and energy to your relationship, working on it every day. You must remember that you not only love the one you want to spend the rest of your life with, you also love your parents, family, friends etc. Love is the word describing the closeness to your heart of the person you are talking about. For example, the one who graduated from "in love" is most probably the closest to your heart, your children a little further away, and so forth. It is also unfortunately true that the closer the people are to your heart, the more they can hurt you.

"Love" is what keep people together forever, through better and worse, richer and poorer, through sickness and through health.

A good example is most film stars who act on the "in love" feeling and when that is gone, they devorce - there was never any love in the relationship.

I have heard ppl saying pure love and this love that … but for me love is only love no matter wat… if there was something called true love then there should also be something called untrue love right!!!

Love is such a tender feeling like a school kid doesn’t know wat to do when in love he wants someone badly but when he has her … he doesn’t know wat to do with her … love started its journey there … it is attainable and at the same time not so pleasurable experience but nevertheless he want to taste it again and again… it grows every time makes life nearer to heaven and soul lighter then ever.

Love is when you find an old jewel box with doves’ enclave over it … in the dirty cupboard of urs … time runs back and all the feeling related to it floods ur life within seconds of seeing … all the feeling which brought u so much joy and pleasure then .. Those unforgettable moment when it was gifted to u … when a girl first time felt she is a woman and deserves the due respect of it … It also brings the circumstances under which u have to forget and forgive the guy.

Love is the book which contains the first red rose u have ever received it stays in book for years might have lost its colour and smell but it will never lose its importance. It might be a simple question from someone who mistakenly seen that asks “why do u have this stuff here” u have answer deep down the heart but nevertheless it can surface to life. It is still the love which brings u happiness till the book and rose lasts

Love is something which happens in dark lonely lanes of busy city… whenever u walk through those kind of lanes u will feel those moment when u desperately wanted to hug someone but couldn’t due to people around … when u indeed hugged him … didn’t let him go even when vehicles moved along flashing light and horns which made no difference. That is called lanes of love … every city and localities have many of those but ppl shun going through those.

Love is not restricted to lanes and by lanes it is felt in heart of parks where u see a guy making a secret wish that a beautiful butterfly which she wants to see closer may come and sit on her bosom. When indeed it does then eyes smile more the face … heart misses a beat and believe god is still there …

Love is not even owned by young hearts … love exists in the olden hearts which could never be united but wat happens to the love which was united… it stays where is has to be, in the depths of heart which is never fathomed … it might never die for ever it grows like a giant tree over which all the support structures stand … all other relations made but again … It would remain in hearts till it last beat … the regret shall be how wonderful the world have been if I have dared that moment of life… to sit in same park some 40yrs down the lane and feel the teenage love…
I have more to say abt this but I may not test the patience of people who dare to venture the unknowns of love. Who had the ecstasy of being with someone? I know people who would say love is temporary fever which can be cure by separation. Can anyone argue with them … I shall proudly say not … they never lived the life fully and shall never live too.

all best ... hope u like it

when this word comes in my mind i feel refreshing becoz it gives a unknowing feeling which is difficult 2 express. Every person have different view on love bt in my opinion love is sacrifice becoz in love we have 2 sacrifice something for our lover happiness. It's have a mixed feeling like caring, understanding, compromising etc. By these one can make his love for everlasting. love cant be define as everyone say bt each human being have some feeling for it. so love is a mysterious feeling which comes at every person life. At last i can say that wait for the time when u started liking somebody then u came 2 know what is love?

Love can't be described in words, it's experience. It's a deep feeling. It's the smile u see on ur partner's face. It's the butterflies u feel. It's missing the other person seconds after leaving him/her. It's the feeling that doesn't end w/ an argument or a fight. It's this unconditional feeling towards the other person.

the one true God, and my Lord and Savior.........

1 Cor 13:4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

People have been asking that same question for ages. There's no single answer and there are all kinds of love, whether romantic, for family or friends, etc. I think a lot of it is caring more about someone else than you do about yourself.

When a person becomes the most important part and meaning of your life, and you cannot understand life without him/her.

(I'm talking about "being in love" not just family/friends love)
