Please read. Taxes a small part. Illegals don't know it, but the massive numbers have ruined citizens lives by raising the cost of living so high that many people cannot pay bills, cannot afford health insurance and so on, and are one pay check away from losing their home. L.A. a good example. Many through illness/injury/widowed/divorced, etc., have lost their home/apt. unable to pay high bills, and are living from their vehicles or on the streets. Families homeless have grown by 50% now. More than some have lost their lives due to not being able to afford medical insurance or drugs, etc. Those that don't work can get free care in horrendous system where they get an appointment in 3 to 6 mos. for basic care awful care which takes a whole day. The government has watched all this happen and more for years!

If you are an Amercan citizen, you can fill out an petition for your spouse and since you guys have children together, there's no why Immigration will assume it's an arranged marriage. She should able to get into the US within one year or so ( Form I-130 Petition for an Alien Relative ). About illegal immigrants: those that refuse to learn English and want to live in America the same way they used to live on their country DO HARM American society and it's culture. On another hand, those that speak the country majority's laguage, pay their bills and taxes, obey the laws (other than the immigration laws, since they have no choyce to get legalized under current laws: immigration reform act of 1996) contribute to the wealthy and culture of this country. These are majority on the illegal immigrants community, but unfortunatelly the bed ones are more "visible". My wife and I are illegal immigrants actually, with three American kids, but most of our friends think we're Americans, 'cause when we came to this country we decided this was our country and we'd be part of it. Good lucky on your problem; hope you guys can get to the US soon. Btw, I check Immigration website every week, looking for something new that could help me and my wife, that's why I know so much about laws and forms, lol. Take care.

First of all I agree with the others that have answered this question I don't think you are telling the whole truth. If you are a US citizen you should have no problem. Second the one who answered that illegals do not go the ER is crazy. Just go to the ER or DR office and see how long you have to wait because of all the illegals that are there!!!

Firstly, you sound quite daft, as if you are US citizen, your ife should be one too.
Secondly, companies outsource labour out to foreign countries, it's not illegals taking them away. I haven't heard of Americans wanting jobs sitting around and sewing the Nike label on a bunch of jerseys anyways. If you can't find a job it's your fault fot not becoming more educated. The economy is shifting towards service, not manufacturing.
You only go to the ER if you just got shot or something serious happened to you, *******. Not because you have the sniffles or have a physical or something. On top of that, typically illegal immigrants will try to avoid the hospital, as the forms you gotta fill out are typically in English, and you all seem to think immigrants refuse to assimilate. Also, hospitals usually attend the insured first. Illegals can't get insurance, so there's that much. chances are they're not clogging your hospital, and if so, how often do you have to go to the damn hospital anyways? W/E, I'm sick of talking to you folk.

If you are legally married, that is, if you have legal documentation, she can apply for a visa as your spouse and as the legal guardian of American citizens. You need not prove her status as legal or illegal. You need only prove her status as your spouse. The fact that you claim to have been attempting this yet do not know this simple truth leads me to believe you are not, in fact, married to a foreign national; but, rather, you are an agitator trying to stir up sympathy for the plight of illegal immigrants.

you aren't telling the whole story or you are just making it up. If someone wants to come to this country they should do so legally.I am a American citizen and i cant get in to see a Dr at the er because of the illegals in there using it for a Dr office. I cant get paid a higher wage for the same job that is paying much much higher in other parts of the country. I believe that this is a criminal act to come here illegally. I am not a racist and i believe that if you want to come here ill welcome you but do it legally. If the threat of terrorist getting in aren't enough to get everyone in this country all for putting up a wall.I don't think that they are really Americans.

YES, immigrants are destroying america by stealing jobs from american citizens, by taking advantage of the american social welfare system an by failing to embrace american culture. The really odd thing is that they think that beeing illegal entitles them to legal rights in or country whic is ludicris and shows without doubt what transpires in the warped migrant mind.

Illegal immigrants have affected the applications of legal ones. Thus, you are very much affected because you cannot bring your wife and your kids to the US.

I'm sorry that your family has to go through that, especially the kids, have you try to talk to a lawyer or legal aid now days it's really hard... but my suggestion is to talk to a lawyer and try to get any as many letter from family and Friend saying that your wife is good citizen and she no harm to no one. my case a bit different I'm an American but my husband is not, now he's being detained with no bond. but try legal aid and get letter even from yourself.

There is something that you are not telling us.
This country would not prohibit a foreigner from visiting without good reason. Something has to be wrong with her paperwork or the right paperwork is not being supplied.
I am sorry that your family is divided but I want my country to be diligent in regards to security on who they let into this country everyday, all the time and regardless of who you are or your reasons for gaining entry to our country..
What is stopping your parents from traveling where you are to meet their grandchildren. If I had grandchildren I would move mountains to be able to meet and get to know them. And as a parent, I would move mountains to be able to travel to where my parents were so my children could get to know their grandparents. I was a single parent of three children from the time they were 5, 4 and 2. You can't get much younger than that and we traveled thousands of miles to visit my mother at times. It is not easy, but you could take the trip on your own with the children if need be.
There is certainly more to this story than you are telling us.
