This morning as I was walking around my garden, I noticed something very odd. There was an owl (I think it was a tawny), lying dead on the lawn. It had a note nailed to its chest saying 'Brazil, owl, never the twain, Brazil, owl, not one to complain'.
What is going on!?

You need to call the authorities, such as the DEP or Department of Environmental Protection (or similiar authority)and turn the owl over to them. Most raptor birds in some way or form are protected, at least in the U.S. they are.

I guess the question is- how much weight could it carry exactly. I mean if it was hauling half its weight it would probably have never made it to america, but supposing your in brazil, that owl could've heard about your wife and wanted to have a go, I guess if you were in America that owl would fly as far as he had to, to take care of business y'know, but i suppose i wouldn't live here if I had a choice either, a nail to the chest that sounds like the way to go
by the way, you make answering fun

It's funny you should say that as something similar happened to me recently except it wasn't a dead owl it was a seven foot parrot stood on my lawn. When it opened it's beak all I could hearwas the sound of my Grandmother shouting the word "bees". I'd forgotten about it till you reminded me....

Ahhh! Ti's ill omen. Spike Milligan rest his soul; torn between a return to this God forsaken earth as Owl or Poet. Knowing not which he lands in untimely purgatory. Make haste and give to the deep so that his soul may rise again.
