I am planning to get the Angiography Surgery in India. I have been tired of trying to get it in the NHS. The cost is supposed to be very low in India and I have heard the Hospitals are good.

Yeah, sure, travel to India for it, just make sure they don't put you to sleep, they might just take your left kidney and sell it on the black market.

Many patients travel from UK, Ireland, and Scotland to get low cost Angiography surgery in India. One of the most frequently asked questions when considering Angiography surgery is the price of surgery in India.

But you should consider some other factors as well such as: ---

a) Check whether after the Angiography surgery you will stay in the hospital or be discharged and taken to a hotel; ask about special care or assistance after the Angiography surgery and about contingency plans in case of complications during the procedure or recovery time.

b) Do they recommend having a close friend or family member travel with you to provide support for Angiography Surgery In India.

c) Find out when the India’s high season is so that you can avoid exorbitant flight prices and enjoy more moderate weather.

d) Read up on local costs, the prices of meals, transport and hotels, how easy is it to travel around and whether it is considered safe to do so

The reasons for choosing to travel abroad for Angiography surgery are different for everyone but with lengthy NHS waits and concerns about MRSA advantage of affordable, high quality private healthcare in India, and combining it with a tropical, cultural or relaxing holiday saving thousands of pounds compared with having the treatment done privately in the UK.

I checked out the website of Forerunners Healthcare – which is the premier most medical tourism company in India offering Angiography surgery in India to International Patients. They have served more than 400 International patients from across the globe (especially US and UK) to get low cost affordable surgery in India at the best Hospitals and Medical Institutions. I think this could be of help for you as well.

The standards at the Apollo Hospital in Colombo are high. The equipment is good and the doctors and surgeons tend to be trained abroad. I think this is probably a better option than India. You can get a brochure on line. The big advantage is that people in Sri Lanka generally speak English, whereas in Thailand they do not.

ANGIOGRAPHIC SURGERY DOES NOT EXPLAIN THE REAL PROBLEM. IF YOUR CORONARY ARTERIES ARE NARROW AND YOU NEED BY PASS SURGERY THEN IT IS QUITE SAFE, PROVIDED YOUR CARDIAC SURGEON IS WELL KNOWN FOR HIS OR HER JOB.INDIA HAS LOTS OF AMERICAN AND BRITISH TRAINED SPECIALISTS. MAKE SURE THE HOSPITAL IS WELL EQUIPPED FOR THIS TYPE OF OPERATIONS AND ASK OR CHECK THEIR SUCCESS RATE. BE DIPLOMATIC AND DONT OFFEND THE SURGEONS OR INVASIVE CARDIOLOGISTS,BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY ARE THE BHAGWANS AND NOBODY SHOULD QUESTION THEIR COMPETENCY AND SKILLS, CULTURALLY THEY CONSIDER IT AS AN INSULT. SO BE KIND, HUMBLE,AND CLEVER ENOUGH TO FIND THE RIGHT PERSON AND RIGHT HOSPITAL. WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.
