Drunken Kung Fu is often regarded as more of a 'demonstration' type of style, like Wushu. Many Wushu schools/books/videos teach Drunken Kung Fu forms but may not teach the applications.
I'm always amazed at those that say this style or that style don't work. I wonder what they base that on. Have they been in fights where they tried to use these techniques and failed? Or have they seen a superior fighter in another style defeat a fighter in another art?
Take the UFC for example. The Gracies created the UFC as a way to showcase their style of Juijuitsu by putting their best fighter against fighters that (in my opinion) were not the best representatives of their particular styles. Overnight, people thought that Gracie Juijutsu was the ultimate fighting style. As we can now see, this is not necessarily the case.
Good luck with your search.

It's not a style but a technique. Drunken Kung Fu is a way of learning to do strikes from odd positions and to be unpredictable in a fight.
I don't know of any DVDs or books on the subject. I would suggest going to find a Kung Fu instructor who specializes in street-based martial arts who has experience with the technique.

Drunken Kung Fu actual is not an actual art. It was started for the movies to make things more fancy. It has no actual purpose except to entertain when doing forms.

You can't learn drunken style. There was only one man who used it and probally the only one who could. The drunken master. He kicked some major you-know-what when he got drunk.

to be honest with you this is a very hidden form of martial arts and i doubt that you will find any dvds on it maybe books that may talk about it but i hardly doubt you will find any teachings in them or a teacher that will teach you this form as myth says many men that did learn this art form became very heavy drinkers and no good drunks so they stoped teaching it..Good luck finding somthing and if you do mail it on too me please..
