Weve been flirting a little bit for 2 weeks.
We were sitting in a library with 12 other people all around friends and strangers.
I asked her "what time are you leaving"
then she said 6:00 Why, why did you ask, you must have had a reason"
"Why?"
Then i asked her to come sit by me and she said "no first tell me why you asked".
By then a scene was forming and i felt like saying "never mind" but instead i said "I wont tell you until you come over and sit with me"
Then she laughed and said "fine, i wont come over until......"
WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT?

If she had just said "6:00"
Then i would have walked over or asked her to come over and asked her if she wanted to go out for something afterward, but Callling me out made that impossible.

Some girls are a bit clueless with flirting. You guys might be flirting but she still might not know that you interested. Really! Trust me on this one!
Her asking Why all the time.. she could be a little insecure about her self.
You could of just told her why you were asking. After that she would of dropped it.
Could of told her, ´wanted to know, cos maybe we could get something to drink, if it isnt too late...´
By saying this...the ´ball is on her court´ its her turn.
But hey flirting is the best part of it.....

Trust me on this.....she MOST likely has reviewed that scene over AND over in her head too! Probably hoping you didn't think her to be a TOTAL *** ; )
A lot of women,(myself included) tend to be very confused when reading a guys signals in a situation like that.Even though, you were asking a completely straight-forward question, she just wanted to make sure you REALLY wanted to know....and hearing the reason, would give her permission to flirt-on. --example :when she asked,"why?" You could've told her the reason 'why' you REALLY asked her.....Maybe you wanted to spend more time with her etc.... We love hearing how you "studs" feel ; P Flirting is fun.Try relaxing a bit more when your with her...It'll be a sign to her to relax more too and you'll forever be "adorable" in her eyes.. WoW...hope i helped and you did ask for this novel in a way!!LoL

Sounds like she is trying to get you to give a reason in front of others. That is an uncomfortable situation. Maybe she is only comfortable in groups and so so comfortable in one on one situations. Try to get some people together to go out as a group. Its hard to understand people if not impossible. Good luck.

Well, I think she was just trying to get a little attention at your expense. Maybe she was trying to let everyone know she is dominated or told what to do. Not that you were telling her what to do because you werent, however, being a girl you would be surprized how man girls/ladies who are unhappy in their relationships or lack there of will try to make other women feel bad or feel like they have a bad relationship because of stuff like that. So that's a possability.

Okay this is flirting. If you want it to go beyond that, next time walk up to her, same "come here you sweet woman, you." and take her hand, and walk WITH her over to the seat. She may forget to ask her question, and so may you.... lol....
The trick is to take the flirting one small level UP... it's okay, but she sounds like she's looking to find out what you want. Girls do this. Boys do this. It's called BAITING. They want to find out how you feel. Tell the girl, be the man - not mancho, but manly, a manly gentleman. She'll swoon, trust me! lol...

Women love to play games. If we don't give you a hard time then its not fun and we lose interest. Just keep flirting and play games back and she keep stringing you on for a little longer, until you break the ice.

Umm...btoh of u are not giving in... I love giving guys a hard time... it's like playing along with it... It's just for fun and btw u started it... so she though why not play along.. if she actually went to sit with you...one fine day you'll find it boring...imagine she actually does every single thing you asked her to...
Courting a girl aint that easy...but as times past it'll be a fun thing...trust me...

It sounds like she was being paranoid (like so many women). Maybe you should have said "I want to know when you're leaving because........." Girls get on my nerves, I hate the girly mind games. I think in that situation, had I been you, I would have said "f*ck it!" and left.
Girls are difficult.

Because she is afraid of being wrong and continuing to flirt, or she is afraid that you are interested and the thought is not appealing to her.
People of both sexes sometimes flirt for flirtings sake not because they are interested in the person they are flirting with.
