Don't tell her. If it is going to happen, it should happen naturally. If you tell her and she doesn't feel the same, the relationship/friendship will be forever damaged. If she feels the same as you do, there should be obvious signs. And if she feels the same as you do, something will likely happen to bring it together. Sounds like you are trying to force something that might not be mutual.

Sometimes when you are close to a friend you can get confused about what you truly feel. Sometimes friends are better left as friends, especially if you are not sure if that person likes you that way. Majority of relationships end up horribly, so it is almost certain that if the relationship does not work out then things will never be the same again as you may find you cannot go back to being friends.
I guess it really depends on how much you feel for this person and how much you are willing to risk to attempt something that may not work out in the long run. Ultimately, it is up to you, but probably before you make any moves, you should wait until you get clear signals that suggest that she may be interested too.

Keeping it a secret and being frustrated by not being able to express your love and eventually being disastrously heartbroken will definitely ruin your friendship. You have already made the choice that you do not want to be just friends anymore. If you tell her there's a chance she will reciprocate ,if you don't-no chance.Take a chance. It is better to know.Maybe she DOES know and is waiting for you to make your move.Maybe she is thinking the same thing as you!!!

do u love her enough? or do u love your self more? pride is a form of too much love for one's self. take heart. be courageous. a mature woman always knows when a guy is sincere with his intentions and will respect you more if you let her know how you feel for her. it's not much about losing a friendship as true fiends will go on accepting and understanding, no matter what. and that includes taking the friendship to a higher level. attraction and getting developed in the course of friendship is nothing new. any beautiful relationship comes from a beautiful friendship. why not take a chance? 'perfect love casts out fear.'

Friendship is about being honest and open. To expand that relationship to something more serious obligates you to express your feelings. If she is your true friend, she will listen without judgement and then express how she feels about you and if there is any hope for your future as a couple. I wish you luck.

This sounds really bad but it might work.. wait till you're both really drunk one time and then try kissing her, if she's not into you, then you can just blame it on your drunken state the next day and laugh it off. But make sure you're not the only one thats drunk or you'll just look like an inebriated idiot and she definetly won't be into you!
