My grandma has everything. And I mean EVERYTHING.
She even has a Lamborghini (and I don't!)
So the only thing I could give her is something I make myself.
Here's the gist, I can't cook for my life. And last year, I actually spent two weeks to try baking something decent for her. And she loved it even when it tasted like crap.
Grandma(s) are wise. They know how to appreciate the thoughts that actually count.
My advice is, don't try to impress her. Give her something that'll let her know you care and that you're trying. Sometimes, the simplest thing would be good enough.

A book you can make for her with her life's story and picture's of hes life. Like this she will know you love her and that you have been interested in her life. Maybe you can look up things that happened threw out her life on line, good things and maybe find out her most favorite songs so that she can listen to them or have just her most favorite songs but into a C-D The tile can say threw the year you never let me down.

Grandmas love flowers and a pretty card, or a nice picture in a frame of you, or the family.. If she gets her hair done, give her a certificate for one hair do.. or for a nail do. or make up a coupon book of things that you will come over and do for her on certain days.. like mow the grass or help plant flowers or run the sweeper for her. or things like that.. or take her to lunch.. she would be so proud to have you take her to lunch.. good luck..

Get her a bathrobe, or a pair of house shoes, a very lovely blouse to wear,or a very nice necklace.
If she is not diabetic you could get her some lovely chocolates or sweets.
You could also buy a boardgame, and tell her that you will play the game with her and you can spend some quality time with your Gran.
You could take her out to dinner and a nice family movie.
Good Luck.

Something really sentimental that grandmas love is nice professional pictures, you can get pics taken at a professional photographer for pretty cheap, and you can get a nice frame for it. It'll be something your grandma will love forever. This is what my boyfriend and I are doing for his grandma for xmas.
