Very dangerous. Ask this ? In the Heart(Medical) section and see the answers.
Diet pills can damage your heart and also have a heart attack. I know a girl at 24 had a heart attack. Do not mess with that stuff.

Try www.sparkpeople.com
Very neat and informative site and best of all it is free!

Enjoy!

God Bless!

As slimming pills retard metabolism (which is not advised in any normal condition), its not at all safe to take slimming pills. Some other medicines which depress brain's huger controlling centre, have other side effects too e.g. anorexia, nausea and vomiting (by affecting CTZ in brain). These can only be recommended when their beneficial effects outnumber the side effects as in case of severily obese persons or say patients. Most of these act by slowing down metabolic processes so that a person feels less hunger.....Better info at medlineplus.gov

Many patients ask me how they can slim down. I am against prescription pills because I prescribed them many years ago, and some of my patients became very ill.

I now recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I now recommend Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard".

The Hoodia being sold at http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php is in my opinion, the best product on the market. It's pure, no side effects, and it's only $4.97 for 2 weeks (yes, less than $5 !). My patients have seen dramatic results with this particular Hoodia.

"There are dangers to consumers who purchase diet pills that contain drugs of unknown origin and quality, in an FDA news release. Most prescription diet pills suppress the appetite, which causes you to consume fewer calories. On the surface, this seems like the ultimate solution for losing weight. However, as you reduce your caloric intake, your metabolism also slows down. As your metabolism slows, the amount of weight you lose also slows down. This is why it is common for people to lose only a certain amount of weight while taking diet pills alone. The solution, of course, is to combine lifestyle changes to your diet regimen. Lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, dietary changes, and regular health checkups can greatly increase your weight loss success. The dangers of diet pills should always be considered before you decide to take them.

How safe is it to consume any pills on an ongoing basis? What's in these pills and where you getting them from? Discuss this with someone who knows what's in them and how that will affect you in the long term as opposed to someone who is trying to sell them to you
