You mean, do young people who have bonded over time have fun?

Oh, no. That would be unnatural.

it depends on how long he's there. 14 weeks should get him to phase 3 which should allow him to go off base in civilian clothes. but if hes under age and he drinks and gets caught, he'll likely receive an article 15(a form of punishment in the military, and its pretty much career ending). if I were you id tell him you spoke to an E5 in the Air Force(me) and that he should mind his manners at tech school and wait till he gets to his first base where the partyin will really start. My first 5 years in the AF I lived in the dorms and it was a blast, parties all the time.

I assume you're talking about Basic Training and not Tech School. There's no fun in Basic, so when troops finish and move on to Tech School they usually enjoy a few beer's etc.

I wouldn't worry about your boyfriend going crazy unless he was crazy before. Just make sure you send him lots of letters with pictures of you, so getting home to you will be top of his list.

I suggest she find out more information from her instructors before asking you to come out and see her. She might not have time on weekends to go see people yet, or go offbase, or whatever it may be. You don't need to get her in trouble if she just started Tech School.

Is he prior service? If he is then he allready can get around and party it up if he chooses. If he is not, and he isn't in phase 3 then most likely not. Really, when you have free time, you tend not to do stupid things, you really don't want to screw up all the hard work you put in to it. Not that it doesn't happen though, lol.

No, it's not true. All the young airmen behave impeccably until their first TDY. Oh, wait! They behave on TDY too. You have trust issues young lady.

are you asking if he will be drunk and stupid? is there a trust issue? My intuition tells me that you should break up with him before he leaves.
