We went on holiday last year and had no TV, radio, PC, Internet access, CD player and not even an oven, only a two ring gas hob for two weeks. It was a real shock to the system the first night as we sat there staring into space wondering what on earth to do but once we got used to it. We talked, read, did endless Sudoku problems and in the day went walking and visited places and battled with French and Swiss supermarkets.

It was an elightening experience.

I did that for two weeks, went outdoors instead. Tripped on shrooms and got in touch with mother earth. It was extremly enlightening. Going on hikes, looking at water, breathing in the fresh air. I love it. I only go on the computer at night when i cant sleep. ANdI will watch a movie once a week. Other then that, nothng with technology except the phone. O and Music, I cant stop listening to music so i have to say i actual couldnt nout use the mp3 player ever. Unless im going on a hike.

I lived w/out Tv and computer for 4 yrs. I didn't own a stereo or cd player either. I have had the internet and tv for 3months now and feel it's a distraction. I did more before now I just sit on my butt.
