1) Depends on the crime.
2) No, only whites in America does that sh!t! No other country!
3) You mean the Italians? Irish? Russians? Germans? Or are you referring only about Mexicans. If it's the latter then NO! We took California away from the Mexicans. Los Angeles means City of angels in Spanish.
4) No. We call this a free country with opportunity for a better life remember?

1. Death penalty for capital crimes.
Why should the public have to pay for a lifetime stay in prison?
2. Kids should not be able to "divorce" their parents.
Parents are responsible for their kids. If safety issues are happening in the home, there are actions that can be taken by proper authorities to intervene. If it is just because the child doesn't like or agree with the rules the parents lay down, then it's just too bad. As a rule, children do NOT know better than parents because they haven't got the life-experience that an adult has.
3. Do immigrants harm California?
not all immigrants cause social harm. All of us with the exception of the American Indian came from immigrants. The difference with today's immigrants and immigrants who settled our country is that too many of today's immigrants aren't willing to work hard to reap the benefits of living safely in a free society. Mexican immigrants as a rule are hard working people trying to make a better life for their families, but the relative few who come to California to deal drugs or to join gangs or just live off the public docket hurt both the State of California and the rest of the honest immigrants.
4. Are borders correct?
Borders should be patrolled and enforced. If you are specifically asking about California's borders, IMO we should enforce it the same way Mexico enforces its southern border ( they shoot illegal border trespassers on sight).

1) Death penalty. Some people can not be rehabilitated and are severe threats to society at large. Life in prison is VERY expensive to us, the taxpayer, and in many cases is nothing but human warehousing and further criminal education for inmates.
2) Yes, in certain extreme cases some parents are dangerous to their children, physically, emotionally, and financially. If a child is able to support themself or has an alternate safe place to live and thrive, legal severance from parents should be allowed.
3) Illegal immigrants harm whatever country they invade. Legal immigrants are welcome here in America.
4) Borders are IMPERATIVE for national sovereignty. Protection and enforcement of borders is the absolute #1 function of government.

1. I agree with the death penalty--provided that the convicted felon is truly guilty (Sirhan Sirhan). Why waste tax dollars supporting (feeding, housing, and guarding) convicted killers? Also, a death penalty means that there is retribution and deterence in the criminal justice system.
2. No. Kids need to deal with their parents until they are adults and can provide for themselves. Who will support the kids should they be divorced from their parents?
3. Illegal immigrants harm California. They often resort to crime since there are no legitimate opportunities for them. They also contribute to the crowding of public schools. This is a burden on California's taxpayers.
4. Yes. Without international borders, there would be disorder everywhere. There would be no law and order. People would travel freely and take advantage of the benefits of other people's taxes. People would take things that aren't rightfully their own. We need borders to be enforced for the financial and national security reasons.
