no for dreams are immersed in past events and speculation. i.e. if you heard that tomorrow you'll get a prize, dreamed about it and something bad happened in the dream you could be just "unconscious" fulfilling the dream and then say a posteriori that the dream told of this when it was your fear "dwelled on" that was more likely to will it so. also, intuition within philosophy has a bad wrap because you cannot know anything for certain out side yourself other than analytic facts i.e the bachelor is an unmarried man. to know that something bad is going to happen one would have to observe such, i.e. within the dream but then it because a matter of "did my expectation make this happen or did i predict the future?" the latter gives your life little freedom implying that you have a set course and that you were suppose to lose or fall, which psychologically speak is maladaptive meaning that if this is ones rational then other instances can be rationalized so which might bar them from activities if they believe they were not meant to do them. the former gives one free will even though it happen, it didn't have to be this way, you created it so but not the only path. that one sounds a bit better since it gives one the freedom on power. so as for dreams predicting the future, i say no. however, that is really all up to interpretation since it can be viewed as both, but i choose to see it as no, they can't. it is always nice to dream though.

Well sometimes I had it, and after that dream, I usually forgot untill that happens.. and when it happens, I remember that was in my dream.. and it only short future.. not long ones.. and I think it has connection in Deja vu, cause I often having it.. so my answer for your question is maybe..
