do you think I'm not interested?
I'm shy about calling people when I don't know them well, though I don't mind speaking in person at all. It's hard to explain why this is the case. But I wonder if you would think I'm just not interested if I only email at first. (I asked a similar question earlier, but I don't think I communicated my real point very well.)
Thanks for your thoughts and advice.

It has nothing to do with being cheap. I spend plenty of money on my dates, and my date would know that. On the other hand, if it's all about money, then it ain't about much, is it?

No, I would think you just prefer emails to phone calls. For me it will be better too, especially if it's the first time you have been on a date with a guy. When you speak on the phone afterwards, its so awkward and I hate silent moments. With email, you can freely express yourself without feeling awkward. I wouldn't mind, at all.

I'm not sure what would I think .I think I would think you want me to call you at first but it wouldnt stop me asking you for a call instead of emailing me and I would explain talking directly together makes more senses than emailing each other ..but surely I would think that you're kinda interested in me ..

it really depends on the girl, but i think that recieving a call makes u seem a little more interested than an email does...
just because calls are a little more personal then emails are.
don't be afraid to call -- and i you think you'll forget your words or something (and thats why its easier online, because you can just delete...) just write out a list of things u wnt to say beforehand, so when you call her you already have everything planned.
good luck!!

It depends on the woman. I HATE talking on the phone, so eMail is much better for me, but for the average chick this probably won't work.
You either need to get over your shyness and pick up the phone, or find a techie-chick who prefers electronic communication to voice.

Lord honey....RUN I am a former single mom...I met my now husband when my son was 6. My son didn't meet him until he was 8. Be wary of ANY woman willing to bring her kids in at the start of a relationship...

I think an e mail would be fine, as long as some communication is conveyed after a date.

I think it's fine to email her. I don't like talking on the phone either.
