a bunch of fools you are for believing that the god of your dreams will ever save your soul.for that you are fools just like your ancestors that perished on this earth of hate.the time will never show that you will ever see the truth of the reality of life and death.you will die foolish as ever.than after you die,you will just lay in the grave cold and lonely, your soul cannot never leave the grave.you are stuck for eternity.within the powers of your god you say,for there is no such god in your presence.never was.
your in this blackened cocoon trapped for eternity.
forever you will be fools :(
and that's sad that you believe in such of this.very sad.......... :(

the most thing important is that if you do believe that there is a "your" god, that of course should be told to you in what to do.to imagine having sex with him and scream outloud with much excitement,oh yes my lord! than you will be able to enjoy the imaginary god that you have better now than you did.

I think that people believe there is strength in numbers, that the more prayers for a certain thing means a better outcome, or that God will hear the prayer better if a whole congregation will pray for that one thing.

or maybe it is just a sense of comfort knowing that all those people out there care about you enough to take the time out of their busy life to pray for someone they don't really know :)

EDIT:

No! what is really Sad is that you truly believe what you wrote.

you are a lost soul, you are in the darkness. if you believe that not submitting your life to the higher power (however you my envision it) will not benefit you, then you my never step into the light, in our little "fantasy" world, we are happy, what is sad is that you are not happy so you want to bring us down with you.

It's true what they say "Misery Loves company"

Never you mind about the psychotic doctor!
Your concern is being psychotic,
Really come on,one minute you are the all
powerful Dark Witch.
Offering help and guidance as you know so much
Next you are claiming the ability to send spells
through the Internet(?)
Then you are saying you are unsure of your path
and want advise?
Thanks for the 12pts Ive collected of you!

I think basically some see it as each personally getting a number of "favors" or something each day or week or whatnot, and a person asking to be prayed for, or for people to pray for their friend or whatnot, see it as that each person could pray and designate a portion of their count of "favors" to that person's cause, and that God would collect each pile of favors designated to that person, and help the person that much.... or something.

I think it is more of a "it doesn't hurt to wish them well"

there has (arguably...) been some evidence where a person who was prayed for did have better results in whatever they were recovering from, than someone who did not. of course it couldn't be traced definitively to the prayer, ect... but of course these are highly debated/challenged.

it doesn't hurt, but it can be taken a little too far as well, like people who won't even try to utilize scientific medical practices.

you could say that using science is having flawed faith, ... or that "god helps those who help themselves"

Christians pray for other Christians, not out of cowardice, but for a support more similar to friendship. We are all brothers and sisters in the eyes of God; therefore, I'm praying for my friend and my brother in Christ.

The same way a bucket full of water is heavier than a bucket with less, then you ask,Please pray for me? The more the potent the spirit within us magnifies.

Because we are suppose to call upon our brothers and sisters for prayer..
And because...One can put a thousand to flight..and two can put ten thousand to flight..you do the math...when people that truly believe in God stand united..devils have no where to hide..they take off in every direction..that's what that scripture about the one and ten thousand meant.

To Loosly lift a concept from Stephen King's Pet Sematary- when walking through a dark and evil wood, it would be easier to be a pair of claws sfiting through the swamp, than to be the soul that they are sifting for.

I guess you cannot read, I asked for people to pray WITH ME not for me!!!!!! I truly do not care what you think of me. I am not out to please you, but to please God!!!
We asked for people to pray for us, not because we cannot pray for ourselves, but because there is strength in numbers. Also God says "wherever two or three are gathered in my name I am there in their midst. I do no about you, but I have found that people from all walks of life are standing in agreement with me for my Aunt (who is dying at this very moment)and her family. So I think you should shut your face, and go on with your life!!!!!
