It's a legitimate question. People will scoff and say "quit being immature" but it really IS a legitimate question given the claim that God is "all powerful". So... CAN God create logical contradictions? A married bachelor? A square circle? A rock so big he can't lift it? A trail so long he can't walk it?

OD OUR LORD IS THE CREATOR OF WISDOM
AND NEEDS NOT TO BE A CLEVER GOD.
Had God AlMighty, the Glorious been constrained along with being omnipotent, then it would have been possible, but The Almighty Allahs essence and attributes have no contrariety.
Just as, Allah is All Knowing and not ignorant; in the same way Allah is Omnipotent and not constrained or helpless.
It should be remembered that he whose ability has an extreme, due to the limit ness of its ability it can be a helpless and dependent creature(creation) but not the creator i.e. God.
Allahs introduction i.e. Tauheed (Oneness of Allah) is that there is nothing like Allah and Allah, The All Capable is Omnipotent and The Absolute Creator.
Had Allah been such, so as to make a stone which Allah could not lift, Allah would have been considered as creation, rather than the creator and it would not have been valid to call Allah Omnipotent and The Absolute Creator.
But, praise belongs to Allah only (Al-Hamd-o-Lillah) our Lord has, by bringing everything into existence and creating this vast universe told us that our Lords capability has no limit due to which God can be casted as a dependent and helpless creation on any point.
Allah, ‘The Omnipotent’ is All Capable and with Gods All Capability God is sovereign over everything.”

Why would it have to be big. It could be a pebble and weigh several tons, depending on its elemental properties, like a piece of a collapsed star. Plus, pick it up where, on Earth or on Jupiter? If in space, a normal man can pick up many tons of matter, as there is no gravity.

sure. God could make a rock so heavy that he can no longer %. it up, and concurrently will become sturdy sufficient to enhance it. God's powers are multifarious. there is not any longer something He can't do. God can't be constrained by ability of something. God's nature is countless. in spite of the fact that He chooses to do, He can do. whilst people attempt to assert God is constrained in some way, they do no longer look to be talking approximately God. How can God be constrained, and nonetheless be God? case in point, somebody could say that God can't lie. God can lie, yet whilst God lies, this is powerful. we can't connect our morality to God, because of the fact God isn't project to morality. he's transcendental, and has no regulations He would desire to obey. we would desire to obey, yet God does not.

don't you think this question is a little worn out by now?It has been asked so many times,Although God could make anything he wishes and he does so, if it is worthwhile to do so,but, this that you ask, what would be the purpose of doing such a thing?, it would be a waste of energy time and intelligence to do something as totally mindless as you describe, don't you think that God can spend his precious time and energy on things that will be oh so much more useful and productive, he will not waste his time on such useless actions.

The question is illogical, but no. God can make a rock of any size, and pick it up no matter what.
God bless! =)

Think about what you're asking. If God can do everything, can He do something to prove He can't do everything? It's one of those questions that can't be answered yes or no correctly. For example. THIS SENTENCE IS FALSE. Is that sentence true or false? There is no correct answer. But does that prove the sentence doesn't exist?

Kids just love to discuss the relative powers of superheroes, don't they?
The question is nonsensical. You might as well ask if superman can fly and not fly at the same time.

only if he chooses to, but he can once again make it small enough that he can pick it up or find the strength, besides, it would have to consume the world and better. Go in Christ

God is in the rock, the question, you etc. God is the universe with your question in it. You see your theoretical question is itself part of the body of God. God is being.
