A kind word and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Self-Sufficient, Forbearing.
There is no good in many of their conferences except the conferences of such as enjoin charity, or goodness or the making of peace among men. And whoso does that, seeking the pleasure of God, We shall soon bestow on him a great reward.

well what most people don't understand is the red cross and salvation army are not charities.sure they high light a portion of events at times but the rest of the time when they are begging for money ,the money they are actually seeking is the funds to pay administration salaries.they do not help people until these salaries are met.the lady who heads the sal.army makes like 3x's or better,,what the president of the usa makes,as does the red cross.

YES -- I give to charities every year -- all year around -- the Salvation Army Bell Ringers (This time of year), the Salvation Army/Goodwill/and others like this all year around (for gently used toys, shoes, and other things), drop off food to the food pantry, Support the Fund Drives for the Military Service Organizations I belong to (and yes, I am Retired Military) ...
(Especially since I am now an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree)

The only charity i would liek to give is charity for good , money and all our for fame giving our self to other is charity. and i believe yes i m on it.

Yes, I give to the Women's Crisis shelter in our city. Also, we donate out time to the Medical Center as patient aides.
I give to the United Way and the Salvation Army as well

Yes dear, I work very hard to earn, and then give a large chunk of it to the most deserving charity [according to my opinion !] in the world - ME !

I usually put money in the little bucket outside of walmart when they ring the bell. I feel sorry for those poor people that have to stand out in the cold. And I also give money to places like Petco and stuff when they're raising money for animals.

ST. Judes hospital for kids with cancer.. its free hospital if they cant pay.. its all done on donations.. i always give to my local Animal rescur fund..
