Am mid xmas pudding mixing and my recipe is asking for 100grams of flour, anyone know the metric cup conversion? Also is asking for 300grams of breadcrumbs, any suggestions appreciated otherwise shall have to go buy some scales!

Dry Bread Crumbs 1lb=4c
Soft Bread Crumbs 1lb=8c
1 Pound = 453.59237 Grams

The weight of each ingredient is different so I think you just need to calculate how many times of each ingredients compare to others, for example: for 100 gram of flour, you need 300 grams of breadcrumbs, 50 gram sugar.. some like that, you can change it to : 1 cup of flour, 3 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/2 or .5 cup of sugar, I think this would help, (hoping) =S

You should buy some scales if you intend on baking anything. Flour weighs about the same as water. 1 pt= 1pound. As far as bread crumbs go, you need a scale or a bag of bread crumbs and a good eye!

100 gm = 13/16 of a cup.

50 grams is approx. 2 oz. (exactly 1.75 oz.)
100 grams is approx. 1/2 c.
300 grams is approx. 1 1/2 c.
