Since it would seem you are already entangled in this lustful tango, I recommend that you do what you can to keep the "messing around" going until the show has finished. Since he is a co-star, if you break it off, the performance could end up awkward and rough. Think of the integrity of the show, for now, it should aid the show, being truly comfortable with a co-star, so try not to let it fall apart.

And just-in-case you haven't, don't do it. It is better for the show if you don't take the risk.

It depends on the circumstances of both actors. Certainly in the film industry there are lots of examples where co-actors had an affair or got married. As near as I can remember it rarely lasts long but at least it provides new headlines for "People" and other mindless magazines.

For a fun discussion, either go see "Noises Off," either at a playhouse (better choice) or the movie which isn't as good.

Don't do it. "Messing around" takes away concentration so the costar would not be ready for his/her lines. In order to encourage your friend, stay away from rehearsals. Then you can catch up once the play is finished.

i do no longer understand how long a prepare consultation era you're having, yet with 3 weeks to circulate, you have an prolonged time left to prepare. How are the different actors doing? sometimes it particularly is extra handy for issues to adhere once you're transforming into the main suitable cues from different actors, and can link a number of your lines to specific strikes. attempt taking a breath and hear the cue being given and picture approximately what you're saying in reaction. Your director has self belief in you - it relatively is going to stick. attempt to no longer hardship too lots as this would make it worse. desire all is going nicely on the night.

You could be messing around with your chemistry with the co-star on stage. It's not a good idea in any case. It's always enjoyable to perform with a friend you can have fun with and trust, on and off the stage.
