Was it a hard bowel movement he had?Since its winter the air is drier so that could explain the nosebleeds.Try some nasal spray to moisten the mucus membranes.

I recently experienced a horrific nosebleed that required hospitalisation and a blood transfusion.I was taking blood thinning medication following a clot in my leg.I would get this looked at by a doctor and treat it as urgent.

hi,

well there can be many reasons to bloodclots and nose bleed. can u be more specific on the location of bld clot?

Anyway nose bld can be due to the repture of the veins in the nose. due to a sudden blow (like a punch or sneezing too hard) or it can also temperature change.

Blood clots occurs naturally in any healing process (in a wound). However sadly, there are many ppl with bld disorders.

He must get his blood tested including CBC, platelet count, bleeding time, prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time. It could be leukemia or idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. Let's hope its nothing serious.
