I have a very active 4 yr old and go through the same thing every winter. We have parades, dance parties, and endless games of hide and seek.
Remember all those crazy songs with the motions, like the hokey-pokey, head and shoulders, etc? If not, look into the Wee Sing songbooks. They come with CDs so you don't even have to be able to sing. See www.weesing.com
I go through a lot of balloons too. Use one as a volleyball. It works well because it can't do much damage, if any, to the indoor setting. Plus you can pretend to fumble when tying it so that it flies around the room and she can chase it.
Best of luck entertaining this winter. Just remember that spring really will arrive one day and we can all run outside again.

It sounds like she is probably an only child so that makes it a little tougher.
I guess you could still play duck, duck, goose but there is no suspense on who the goose will be but when you will be the goose could keep you guessing.
Hide and seek is always fun but at 2 I wouldn't count past 10 so you can still find her...my son is almost 3 and if I counted for too long he would be in the attic if he knew where it was.
There's always songs with hand gestures like head, shoulders, knees and toes or the itsy bitsy spider.
If your daughter likes playing in sand or a sandbox you can make your own bean box with a small pool or larger rubbermaid and buy beans by bulk and throw in some cups, large spoons and some wooden beads and ask her to find them by their color. My son likes to pour the beans over his head.
You can build a fort with the couch cushions and a blanket.
Art is fun but can be messy and I tend to lean more towards easy cleanup. I prefer coloring or finger painting with color wonders so there is no mess.
You can read her a story while acting it out and that will get her into acting out the story while you narrate.
With little girls you can do tea parties and dress up too.

Okay here are my favorites (my kids are 7 and 5 - but I remember when they were little):
Ripping paper - get some paper bags (or how about Junk mail?) and let her rip and shred away. Then throw it up in the air for fun confetti!
Dance party - freeze: Put on YOUR favorite dance tune and play freeze dance with her : Dance until the music stops then freeze(okay you have an advantage - you turn the music on and off, but let her win once in awhile!)
Splash in the water: When my two were REALLY cranky - we would put on bathing suits, run the bath water (about 3 -5 inches worth) and have a splash attack in the tub! Yup, the bathroom can get wet - so put out extra towels before hand and NEVER leave the baby unattended. (Plus - it really works for adults too - get out a lot of stress)
Similar to above:Wash the dishes! My kids LOVED to "wash" a Tupperware container in the sink (over and over again)!
And baby Karaoke: Put on some tunes, find some crazy costumes ( your hat and tee-shirt with a belt will work wonders for her) grab a hairbrush and sing away!
And don't forget to take lots of pictures too! Enjoy! ( They grow up too fast!)

I have boys so im not sure exactly, but a good thing to do thats great for both girls and boys is coloring. My kids like to color, they also love playdough. I sit with them at the table and we color and do playdough. We also just chase each other thru the house and play monster. Mine are very easily entertained though! Good luck!

The BEST is to teach her the "hokey pokey", YOU will love watching her do it! Also, hide and seek is a good one, and reading stories is a good inside thing to do, too.

let her dance with nursery rhymes like rolly-polly, three blind mice etc. u should also be with her in these dances. also play with dough, allow the kid to make simple things like ball, fish, etc. that will be a great fun for him. let her play with teaset. also allow her to wear make-ups. she will enjoy it.
