I want to go to a boot camp very similar to the military without joining the military.....anyone know anything?

I don't want to join the military because I value my life and so does my family...
I want to go through boot camp for many reasons:
Self respect, physical training, a challenge....

Hey; there may be some options:
try "outward bound" and such,
I first thought your post was "stupid" then as an Airborne 101st Vietnam vet, went:
you are ok to ask:
also do a SCUBA course, climbing, etc, cross country skiing, etc.
No, there are ways to do "something"
I agree with what you ask: it does not have to be military!
