well my sister's birthday is in the next month and so i want 2 make a pizza 4 her.plz tell me recipe.it should b veg.

-2 cans tomatoes, undrained and chopped
-2 green peppers, chopped
-2 onions, chopped
-2 tsp. salt
-2 tsp. sugar
-1 tsp. dried oregano
-1/8 tsp. pepper

Method:-

Combine and simmer over low heat 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cook ground meat (1 1/2 pounds) with salt until no longer pink. Drain, spoon tomato mixture over crust. Add meat, olives, etc. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Add Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese. Bake 10 more minutes. Top with Parmesan.

CRUST FOR HOMEMADE PIZZA:

-1 c. boiling water
-2 tbsp. shortening
-1/4 tsp. salt
-1 pkg. yeast (fast acting)
-3 to 6 c. flour

Method:-

Mix all ingredients, divide in two and place in pizza pan. Cook for 10 minutes and remove and place sauce and cheese on top.

Veg Pizza


Preparation Time : 1/2 hour
Cooking Time : 20min.
Serves / Makes : 6 people

Ingredients
3-4 onions
200gms tomatoes
kasuri methi
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp garam masala
2 tbsp red chilli sauce (can also prepare at home by grinding Red Chillies + garlic+ vinegar)
1tbsp ajwain
sugar optional
salt to taste

Method
Step 1. MAKE PIZZA SAUCE

Grind onions to fine paste. Cook it in the oil for about 5 minutes. Then add Tomato puree. Let the mixture cook for another 5-7 minutes. Mix all other ingredients together and cook further till the ingrdients mix well with Tomato and onion paste. Use this ready paste as sauce for Pizzas /Pizza spread

Step 2. PIZZAS dressing

Bake the base first (without applying the dressing or Pizza sauce) so that the base becomes crispy

Then spread the above pizza sauce

Sprinkle the toppings of your choice. Most common toppings are CAPSICUM, ONION, boiled corn, pineapple, panner, mushroom etc.

Finally complete the dressing by grating enough Pizza Cheese over it. (You donot like Mozarella cheese you can use indian like amul Cheese cubes etc)

BAke the Pizza in preheated Oven approximately till the Cheese melts.

Serve it hot with tomato Sauce/ Tobasco etc. etc

French Bread Pizza

Ingredients

red pepper finely chopped
green pepper finely chopped
yellow pepper finely chopped
onion finely chopped
mushrooms thiny sliced
sun-dried tomato paste
pizza sauce
vegetable oil
french baton

Slice a French Baton in half and slice each half through long ways.

Preheat an oven to 200 degrees.

Fry the onion on some oil until soft. Then make up the pizza. Firstly spread it with sun-dried tomato paste. Then add a layer of pizza sauce (I often use pasta sauce instead).

Sprinkle some onion on top. Then spread over some mushrooms. Sprinkle over some peppers.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.

Vegetarian Pizza

16 ounces dairy-free vegan cheese
Cornmeal, for dusting
Whole-Wheat Crust, recipe follows
1 jar pizza sauce (recommended: Muir Glen Organic Sauce)
3 red bell peppers, stemmed, seeded, and cut into large chunks
1 orange bell pepper, stemmed, seeded, and cut into large chunks
2 medium red onions, cut into large chunks
4 portobello mushroom caps, cut into large chunks

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Cut the cheese into large chunks that will fit in the shredder attachment of a food processor. Shred the cheese in the processor. Sprinkle cornmeal on a clean surface and roll out the dough until it is approximately 1/2-inch thick (should be about an 18-inch circle). Transfer dough to a pizza stone or rimless pan large enough to hold it.

Spread the sauce over the surface of the crust, leaving approximately 1/2-inch of crust around the edge. Sprinkle the cut vegetables on top of the sauce and then sprinkle the cheese over the veggies.

Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve hot.

Whole-Wheat Crust:
1 cup whole-wheat flour
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1 1/4 cups warm water (about 110 degrees F)
2 tablespoons honey

Sift the flours together in a medium sized bowl. Place the yeast in a separate bowl and pour the warm water over it; let stand for about 5 minutes. Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment, mixing for approximately 5 minutes. Set the dough aside to rise for approximately 2 hours.

Once the dough has risen, roll out the dough to a circle that is approximately 1/2-inch thick and about 18 inches in diameter.

Vegetarian Veggie Pizza

1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped red bell peppers
1/4 cup chopped green bell peppers
1 cup chopped zucchini
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup grated part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 loaf frozen French bread dough or pizza dough or italian bread dough or all-purpose bread dough
1 cup italian tomato sauce

Saute vegetables in oil, drain and cool.
Stir in cheese.
Roll dough into a 1/2-inch-thick circle.
Put on a 12-inch pizza pan or 10-inch pie plate.
Spread Italian Tomato Sauce on pizza.
Spoon vegetable mixture over sauce.
Bake pizza at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Cool, cover with heavy aluminum foil and freeze.
To serve, thaw and heat in a preheated 400-degree oven for about 20 minutes

Ingredients for the dough:

2 Cups All-purpose Flour or 1 1/2 cups All-purpose and 1/2 cup Wheat Flour
1 teaspoon Ajwa (will ease the process of digestion!!)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or Parsley or Oregano flakes
3 cloves of fresh garlic (finely chopped)
3 finely chopped green chilies (optional)
2 teaspoon yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar (optional - its takes out the bitterness from yeast)
3 teaspoon oil (any kind)
Salt to taste

You will also need shredded mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese and toppings of your choice.

Method:


Soak yeast in hot water for 5 minutes or until it foams on the surface.
Mix all ingredients except yeast well.
Add yeast and again mix well.
Add water to prepare dough. Dough should be similar to kind of dough we prepare for roti (soft).
Cover the dough and set it aside for at least 11/2 hour or until it doubles itself in size.
Ingredients for the pizza sauce:

1 16 oz tomato sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder or cayenne powder Salt to taste

Mix all ingredients to the tomato sauce. You can get ready-made pizza sauce too.

Method for Pizza:


Preheat Oven to 400 F. (this is a must)
Take the dough as it is without trying to blend it again on a pizza pan or cookie pan.
With a rolling pin roll the dough to the edges.
Spread a thick layer of sauce on the dough.
Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese on it.
Garnish with the toppings you like. Common ones are sliced or chopped red onions, sliced tomatoes, mushrooms, ground meat, green peppers, pineapple, jalepeno peppers.
Sprinkle cheese after you garnished all the toppings on the pizza.
Set oven to 350 F.
Be sure to put the pizza pan on lowest rack possible and let it bake to 18-20 minutes or cheese is melted and crust (bottom) is brown.
Enjoy your home-made pizza with Coke or Pepsi. Happy Eating!!

Recipe: Vegetarian Pizza

Dough:

1 cake yeast or 2 1/4 tsp. dry yeast
1 1/2 c lukewarm water
3 1/2 c whole wheat flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
2 T oil

Cheeses:
8 oz Mozzarella, sliced
1/2 c Parmesan, grated

Sauce:
1clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp basil
1 c mushrooms, sliced
1 T butter
2 T olive oil
1 bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c parsley, chopped
3 c plum tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp salt

Dough: In bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

In another bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, and salt. Add dissolved yeast and oil.

Knead dough on floured board or table for 5 minutes. Form dough into a ball. Place in bowl. Cover, let rise in a warm place, about 2 hours or until almost doubled.

Sauce: Saute garlic, basil and mushrooms with butter and oil in large pan for 5 minutes. Add pepper, parsley and tomatoes. Stir in salt. Cover, cook over low flame
for 45 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350F. Place dough on oiled pizza pan or baking sheet, stretching to fit pan. Spread sauce over the dough, then top with cheese slices. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake for 1/2 hour. Turn oven to 250F. and bake 15 minutes more.

buy the refrigerated dough...............add marinara and whatever veggies you want to on top...........PIZZA
