I used to work at a grocery store. The eggs generally arrived at 7:30 AM. The Chickens were only delivered at 2:00PM.
so its the chickens that came first.

The chicken, the egg is just part of the chicken that will come out and become another chicken.

The chicken was in bed with the egg and they were both laying on pillows looking very satisfied. The chicken, taking a puff off the cigarette passed it to the egg saying, "Well, I guess that answers THAT question." :)
That's all the info I have which sadly leaves the question unanswered. But perhaps in our quest for the truth, we have gotten a little chuckle for our efforts, eh?

Chicken..God created the chicken first, then the egg came along...no chicken......no egg.

Evolution allowed them to come together at the exact same time. I know it sound crazy but it's like DNA. The odds were 1000 jigillion to one against, but it happened cause , well, , , IT JUST DID.
Now it works perfect cause the chicken sits on the egg and "bingo" it makes another chicken to sit on another egg.

The egg evolved into a chicken. I dont believe a chicken poofed out of thin air just like man didnt poof out of thin air.We all came from single cells. What are we made up of?? skin CElls, blood CELLS.tissue CELLS.Brain Cells...etc. i believe family of cells working together as one produce egg..chicken..man...etc

endless debate philosophical questions.
Someone pointed out that the chicken had to come first
so you can make the egg that gives birth to the "first" Non created Hen and rooster.
inthe book of genesis, someone else described that all things that are in the world were first created in "the" spirit but since the spirit cannot produce children of flesh the body must be created first to join the spirit to the flesh.
